Provided training development support for the Short & Intermediate Effectors for Layered Defense (SHIELD) Project Directorate, including planning for, and monitoring the validation & verification of Land-based Phalanx Weapon System (LPWS) training development plans, outlines of instruction, instructor guides, student guides, examinations, & multimedia content. Review & validate new/revised training materials against all applicable technical manuals (TM), technical bulletins, & commercial manuals associated with the LPWS hardware & software.

Functioned as a subject matter expert for training oversight & conduct & is regularly called upon to operate in a leadership role as a representative for the Counter-Rocket, Artillery, Mortar (C-RAM) Logistics Management Division and the SHIELD Logistics Division. Scheduled and provided support for modification work order events.

Provided expertise on acquisition documentation for the LPWS Life Cycle Sustainment Plan and Materiel Fielding Plan. Organized the collaboration of multiple Government entities, to include CASCOM, TRADOC, Safety, FcOE, & C-RAM, to conduct the LPWS Logistics Demonstration (LD), during the COVID pandemic while following all Government shutdown protocols and precautions. Ensured that students were equipped, resourced, & sustained in their respective supporting roles.

Mitigated interpersonal challenges & conflicts before they escalated. Managed instructors & field service representatives responsible for maintenance, training, & TM development for the LPWS. Oversaw the Log Demo location, day to day logistics activities, system maintenance, supplies, & components required to keep all systems operational during the event. Ensured the Government lead was continuously updated on all training, TM, & maintenance changes.

Collaborated with PEO/STRI, CASCOM, FcOE, & TRADOC to create, deploy, & maintain Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, & Simulations in accordance with capabilities production document requirements, ensuring smooth synchronization for fielding events.

Provide logistics supply support while utilizing COLTS and NAVSEA systems to process parts requests and document equipment work orders. Ensured that all requests from units & FSRs were in the proper format and ensured that high priority requests were processed in a timely manner.

Subject Matter Expert (SME) for LPWS Maintenance Training and TADSS development, Unit Training, NET as prescribed by the contract. Maintained and monitored the operational budget.

Must possess the ability to maintain close daily working relationships with senior Air Defense Artillery community, FCOE, and SHIELD leadership. Assisted in creating doctrinal and training products such as TSP's, POI's, TTP's, and employment guidance. Continuously Improved the flow of the DOTMLPF-P, JCIDS, and SHIELD processes.

Possible Supply related tasks

Will attend weekly meetings, track action items from meetings, and maintain a program calendar with input from multiple stakeholders. Will represent the SHIELD Logistics Division's interests within multiple Integrated Product Teams, review prime contractor deliverables, and provide logistical analysis.

Will provide direct input in solving issues involving diverse staffs, stakeholders, and resources. Will possess the ability to communicate and interact with Senior Staff on a routine basis.

Will be goal-oriented and experienced in effectively meeting program milestones, while providing solutions to a range of complex technical problems. Will possess critical thinking skills to address acquisition mandates and Warfighter requirements.

Must have the ability to analyze, organize, plan, and administer various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more basic programs using established procedures. Will analyze basic contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, maintenance practices, and related reports for contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements. Will assist in conducting distribution and network studies, monitoring inventory, and analyzing requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired product delivery times.

Must have demonstrated ability to resolve Product Development challenges and/or regulatory/ compliance issues and to recommend process, product, or service improvements. Will be responsible for solving unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on Product Development. May oversee the creation/alteration of briefings and provide acquisition support and technical analysis as requested.

Prior experience utilizing the Catalog Ordering Logistics Tracking System (COLTS) and Department of Defense databases, such as the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) and Army Enterprise Portal (AESIP), for property management and property accountability is desired. Will perform other Logistics duties as assigned.

Experience with United States Army property accountability systems, processes, and procedures is highly desired. Excellent customer service skills, problem solving skills, and oral and written communications are required. Excellent knowledge, skills, and abilities using Microsoft Office products are required.

Education: Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's degree. Preferences: Four or more years working with in the areas described above. In lieu of a degree 12+ years of progressive experience may be substituted.

Experience: Basic Requirements:

Must have at least 4 years' experience working with logistics. Preferences: 15 years military experience. COLTS experience is required.

Clearance: Position requires a Secret level security clearance so applicant must currently have one or be eligible to obtain and maintain one.
