Responsibilities

Noblis Mission Solutions Division (MSD) provides naval lifecycle management, engineering, enterprise transformation and program management support. Noblis MSD is seeking a Logistics/Material Specialists to join our NIEF team to perform material procurements, purchasing, tracking and inventory management for complex systems, components and parts.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Define and develop material requirements and strategy.

  • Responsible for the assessment of supply resources; aggregate and prioritize demand requirements; plan inventory, distribution requirements, production, and material for all products.

  • Participate in make/buy process, long-term capacity and resource planning; product phase-in/phase-out, end-of-life management and product-line management.

  • Analyze and aggregate supply / demand requirements.

  • Analyze purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools.

  • Plan inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements.

  • Create/reduce supply requirements based on inventory adjustments.

  • Participate in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling of new product line phase-ins as well as existing product line phase-outs.

  • Interface with Source process area regarding inventory levels, working capital and other areas as needed.

  • Create/release requisitions.

  • Receive/review requirements for non-standard parts.

  • Analyze lead times and identify critical path procurements.

Required Qualifications

Junior-Level:

Bachelor's degree OR six years applicable experience in lieu of the degree

Background / knowledge in NIEF Logistics/Materials

Compensation: $66,560 - $80,900

Mid-Level 1:

Bachelor's degree OR six years applicable experience in lieu of the degree

3 years' experience (in addition to degree or substituted experience)

Background / knowledge in NIEF Logistics/Materials

Compensation: $66,560 - $98,800

Mid-Level 2:

Bachelor's degree OR six years applicable experience in lieu of the degree

5 years' experience (in addition to degree or substituted experience)

Background / knowledge in NIEF Logistics/Materials

Compensation: $67,800 - $118,700

Senior-Level:

Bachelor's degree OR six years applicable experience in lieu of the degree

8 years' experience (in addition to degree or substituted experience)

Background / knowledge in NIEF Logistics/Materials

Compensation: $90,300 - $158,800

  • Compensation will vary based on level

  • Demonstrated experience and/or knowledge in a manufacturing and/or materials depot environment

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance (US Citizenship is required.)

  • Demonstrated experience managing material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools

  • Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations

  • Proficiency Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain process strongly preferred

  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings

  • Experience in proposal roles and responsibilities a plus

  • Experience in Deltek CostPoint and CMPro (or related)

  • Experience working with IT related technologies and equipment

  • Demonstrated materials management experience

  • Demonstrated experience with cost, schedule, variance reporting

  • People leadership and familiarity with DOD Operations

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis' total compensation package for employees.

Posted Salary Range

USD $66,560.00 - USD $158,000.00 /Yr.
