This position works with Carriers and internal Oceus personnel to ensure that equipment is delivered and received appropriately. This position also works to ensure Goods Receipts and Goods Issued are documented properly in the inventory management system, along with assisting with periodic inventory counts. The position includes interfacing with Customer Support and Staging to prepare customer deliveries. The position is located at Oceus Networks Operation Center in The Colony Texas.
Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Monitor and Manage logistics and inventory operations.
Coordinates delivery of equipment as needed for various projects.
Interacts with Project Managers, Vendors and others as required to establish a shipping schedule for the various shipments and deliveries.
Work with various groups to understand the requirements and come up with solutions to the logistics of the project.
Manage Equipment Receipts and Issues electronically in the Costpoint Inventory Management system.
Maintain shipping documents per the record retention schedule.
Manages freight claim filing as necessary.
Helps ensure proper counts of inventory is completed and accurate.
Staging of customer deliverables to include device preparation.
Preparation of customer deliverables for shipping including inventory and packing of products.
Interface with Oceus Customer Support to ensure RMAs are handled promptly and accurately.
Able to obtain a forklift certification and operate a forklift.
Manages warehouse organization and inventory.
Minimum Education: High School/Equivalent
Some college education a plus
Experience working in a warehouse environment a plus
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver with high quality
Ability to problem solved and work with minimum supervision
Ability to learn fast and work in a team environment
Effective Communication skills a must
Fluent in English
