ITA is hiring a Logistics Team Lead to join the team at U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities
In support of the National Security Cutter (NSC) Integrated Logistics Manager, the Logistics Team Lead will:
Coordinate the efforts of the logistics support team, including configuration management, Government-Furnished Equipment/Government-Furnished Information (GFE/GFI) management, and any other logistic support efforts required within the project office.
Support all Technical Advisory Groups (TAGs), Configuration Management Boards (CMBs), and Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), verifying that all logistics elements have been considered for all NSC Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs).
Coordinate the efforts of the NSC Logistics support team in the development of any necessary logistics products.
Update NSC logistics-related program documentation as required, including the Integrated Logistics Support Plan and Configuration Management Plan.
Coordinate the efforts of the NSC Integrated Logistics Support Management Team (ILSMT), including meeting coordination, documentation of action items, and coordination of all splinter and working group meetings.
Develop the statements of work for all logistics-related procurement support packages, including Interagency Agreements (IAAs) and Interagency Reimbursable Work Authorizations (IRWAs).
Review all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) data submissions from external entities including Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (USCG SFLC), CG-9335, Project Resident Office Gulf Coast, as well as the builder. Document issues and provide recommendations to the NSC Integrated Logistics Support Manager.
Interface with other government agencies in the coordination of New Threat or Near Term Operating (NTNO) and Near Term Capability Goal (NTCGO) Program Attribute Manager (PARM) reviews.
Serve as the primary support team interface with the Project Resident Office, Gulf Coast.
Specific knowledge of United States Navy provided support to the United States Coast Guard (including NAVAIR, SPAWAR, Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS), and Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD)) is desirable. Experience with the SFLC Standard Technical Information Portal (STIP), technical documentation development and management, and a background in builder logistics processes is a plus.
Qualifications
Over 10 years of experience and a MA/MS degree
Documented completion of all courses required for DHS/DAWIA Life Cycle Logistics LVL III certification.
Qualified candidate shall have at least eight (8) years demonstrated experience as a logistician supporting Major Acquisition Program(s) (DHS/USCG Level I, DoD ACAT I or equivalent) in an ILS team lead role.
Typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently
May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job
In addition, all personnel must:
Be proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and MS Outlook and other software/tools provided on the Coast Guard Standard Workstation and provided for a specific position
Have a minimum of at least 1 year demonstrated experience with shipbuilding acquisitions
Have a minimum of at least 1 year demonstrated experience supporting a major system acquisition program (DHS/USCG Level I, DoD ACAT I or equivalent)
