Logistics Support Specialist

Summary:

Nisga'a Tek is seeking a Logistics Support Specialist in Albuquerque, NM. The candidate hired for this position would need to report to the office daily. There is no option for telework at this time.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist and maintain calendars and appointment/meeting schedules.

• Coordinate and arrange various meetings, and follow up on post-meeting activities, and conference events.

• Prepare agendas for meetings and conferences, accurately document and publish a summary of minutes from meetings and conferences and make travel arrangements for various staff members.

• Assist, support, and advise customers about the details of their finances using cost estimating tools.

• Prepare reports and forecasts to evaluate budget findings; analyze data to determine the costs and benefits of various programs or activities and recommend funding levels based on their findings.

• Perform cost-benefit analyses to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods.

• Examine past budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect income and expenditures.

• May oversee and/or monitor spending, charges, and balances to ensure that organizations comply with the budget and to determine whether certain programs or projects need changes in funding.

• Perform integrated logistics support research and analysis, including program planning and concept development; logistics program management and execution; logistics requirements analyses.

• Other duties as assigned within the scope of the programming assignment.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Perform technical writing, revisions, or write standardized material for reports, briefs, proposals, instruction books, and related publications.

• Excellent time management skills.

• Detail-oriented and organized

• Must be able to interface with a broad range of federal and military senior staff and leadership

• Demonstrate familiarization (minimum of two (2) years of experience) in programmatic or project budgeting, use of cost estimating tools, budget forecasting, and monitoring of charges and balances.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a bachelor's degree in management, Logistics, or related field; or a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Logistics or a related field.

• Demonstrate familiarization (two (2) years of experience) with a variety of basic logistical concepts, practices, terminology, and procedures.

• Demonstrate proficiency (minimum of five (5) years of experience or two (2) years with certification in the use of Microsoft Office products including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and must currently possess a SECRET security clearance.

• Must be eligible for Critical Nuclear Weapon Design Information (CNWDI), RD, and NATO ATOMAL certifications.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior military experience.

• Prior nuclear stockpile experience and/or knowledge.

The salary range for this position is $60,000/yr. to $70,000/yr.
