ENSCO Avionics, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Support Engineer to work on Avionic Hardware & Firmware embedded system documentation. Work involves database analysis, engineering processes, interfacing with internal and external customers to evaluate and approve engineering changes for implementation in Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), and maintaining an array of database information, connecting and manipulating data in order to assist field engineers and internal product engineers. Other tasks may include CMM and Service Bulletin updates per approved engineering changes. Employees in this role must maintain strong department communications and adherence to best work practices.
Qualifications Required (Skills)
U.S. Citizenship Required
Some formal academic/technical training with 6 months of relevant experience such as formal academic projects or internship/co-op experience
Experience with product and engineering analysis and processes
Experience with PDF Creation and Editing toolsets such as Adobe Software
Familiarity with electrical parts and components
Excellent interpersonal skills including working in team environments
Excellent verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively in teleconferences with suppliers, clients and colleagues
Bachelor of Science degree in the electrical, software, or mechanical field or equivalent degree/experience such as technician with 2 - 5 years experience
Experience with document editing tools
Experience with Documentation repositories such as Windchill
Experience with and manipulation of database software
Experience with PLM toolsets
