To add to our valuable team of dedicated employees, we are currently seeking a Logistics & Export Administrator at our Umicore Specialty Materials Recycling LLC facility in Wickliffe, OH. This facility is part of Umicore's Cobalt & Specialty Materials business unit.

What you will be doing
Our Logistics & Export Administrator will coordinate and carry out administrative tasks associated wtih the logistics and transportation for outbound products and finished goods by interfacing with sales, operations and quality control departments. in addition they will handle and arrange exports in compliance with U.S. Export regulations and controls. Specifically duties may include:
Schedule and coordinate both domestic and international transactions with carriers and freight forwarders
Collate, prepare, distribute and process various bills of lading and shipping documents
Input and maintain shipment details in database and communicate those details to concerned parties
Shipping of outbound product via bulk, van, FTL and FCL
Coordinate with Sales/Production on shipments and verify outgoing shipments in a timely manner
Proactively communicating issues when there are difficulties in securing appointments
Maintain Customs compliance
Maintain DOT and Hazardous Materials compliancy for all shipments
Verification of applicable regulations for both US and the End User Country
Accurately record and report Finished Goods movements
Track and record all customer consignment accounts, shipments and consumptions
Coordinate established warehouse services with customers
Primary contact for all outbound shipping

Knowledge of import/export, DOT and HAZMAT regulations
Strong computer skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of internal ISO 9000/14001 Management System is a plus
Self motivated and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
Strong orientation toward team environment and cooperation
Well organized and detail orientated
Willingly accepts and performs special assignments
