Logistics Solutions Specialist 1

• Mine and extract data to generate reports that assist in performance tracking and decision making

• Analyze logistics operations and build decision support systems

• Analyze sales trends and use predictive demand planning analysis to prepare and manage vendor purchases

• Manage vendor relations and facilitate shipping discrepancies

• Manage company-owned distributor stocking plans and coordinate specialized customer needs

• Conduct research as needed to respond to customer requests

• Collaborate with Sales, Corporate Purchasing, Vendors, Marketing, Manufacturing Scheduling, Quality, Finance, Warranty, IT, and Production Planning teams to align customer needs with supply

• Monitor and review product availability for some focused product class(es) group

• Provide suggestions and implement plans to improve business processes

• Identify value-creation opportunities for the company

• Develop and implement solutions (both simple solutions using existing technology and infrastructure as well as complex solutions using the latest technologies such as machine learning, program automation, sophisticated optimization algorithms, etc.

• Ensure projects and solutions are completed on time and according to specification

• Maintain high quality data governance

• Coordinating vendor information to share with customers

• Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects, with various teams including engineers and supply chain personnel.

Experience:

• 0 - 2 years

• Experience with SQL, Tableau. Power BI, Advance Microsoft Excel

Education:

• Bachelor's degree
