The Suddath Companies is a multifaceted group of companies that specialize in worldwide corporate employee relocations, household moving, warehouse and logistics management and specialized transportation services.


Responsible to utilize sales and organizational skills to develop and maintain business relationships with new and existing clients to provide a wide range of local logistics solutions. Target industries include Furntiure, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E), retail, restaurants and freight forwarding.

Key Responsibilities include:

Consultative selling resulting in providing strategic solutions for customers

Research, develop and present a market strategy

Develop prospect profiles and thoroughly qualify prospects with a focus on targets whom will most benefit from service offering

Develop business opportunities through networking and cold calling, generate informational material and quotes for clients in a timely, organized fashion, close sales, and work with a team that includes design, project management and installation to achieve complete, successful projects for our clients

Participate in related industry groups and affiliations

Produce results commensurate with goals and market potential

Drive sales and profitability by leading the development of creative and innovative solutions to meet client needs

Develop account plans with existing accounts that maximize penetration and retention

Work with other company divisions (architectural products, daylight management products and vertical products) to provide cross-selling opportunities

Provide quotes for prospective customers; manage gross profit margin on sales

Follow all company standards for comprehensive and effective utilization of Suddath's CRM application

Must develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers. Must demonstrate initiative and be effective working independently. Must also posses and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

Mathematical and Computer


Must be effective working with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Must be able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Must demonstrate excellent mathematical and administrative skills to ensure accurate pricing, proposal development and record keeping.

Must be highly proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS CRM and Email. Must be proficient with presentation applications (MS PowerPoint and WebEx)


Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university is preferred; two to five years of direct business to business sales experience; experience in selling logistics services is preferred.

Language Ability:

Must possess and demonstrate the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Must effectively write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Reasoning Ability:

Must possess and demonstrate the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Must be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

This IT warehouse supports IT Offices throughout the Seattle area and across the U.S., providing either direct asset replenishment or procedural support. The successful IT Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for providing assistance to the operations team by maintaining IT inventory, coordinating receive, induct, and audits of assets assigned to the IT department, and maintaining general standardized housekeeping of all IT areas.
