Job Summary:
Acts as day-to-day onsite technical and personnel lead for the task order for each APML.
Performs various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability or maintainability programs and information systems.
Works on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; life cycle cost analysis and control; weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility; Integrated Product Support (IPS)/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and execution; and, IPS/R&M program management analysis.
Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information.
Develops, modifies, prepares, or validates documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university plus six years out of the last ten years' experience should be in operational or acquisition logistics support management/engineering.
Eight years of additional logistics management experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Experience: Three years of specific experience in technical analysis of acquisition or operational ILS requirements.
Three years of specific experience in operational logistics planning or three years of specific experience in both technical analysis and planning, budgeting, scheduling and execution of acquisition ILS requirements.
Experience or education demonstrating ability to perform ILS studies, planning, scheduling, execution, analysis, and evaluations in support of DOD weapons systems/equipment.
A Master's degree or designation as a CPL from SOLE may be substituted for two years of logistics experience.
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities: Working understanding of NAVAIR program environment and priorities Working understanding of NAVAIR logistics standards, processes/procedures, tools, and policies Demonstrated ability to deliver cost, schedule, and performance requirements for NAVAIR customer(s) Current, or recent, understanding of PMA-299 priorities and challenges preferred Vector CSP, LLC provides reasonable accommodation for disabled applicants to participate in the selection process.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Logistics Analyst to join the Production Control team under the Manufacturing department at GA-ASI, located in Poway, CA. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general direction, this position is responsible for scoping, planning and managing large and complex import and export shipments. Works closely with our Trade Compliance, Shipping, Program Managers and our established global 3PL Network to develop optimal and compliant logistics and shipping solutions. * Analyzes, validates and develops optimal logistics and international shipping solutions. * Responsible for processing import and export shipments, including proper packaging, required export/import document creation and submission and shipment classification. * Works very closely with Trade Compliance and Program Management team to achieve international shipping goals and objectives. * Knowledgeable in Import and Export laws and regulations, including product classification, ITAR, Incoterms, import and export document filing, AES and record retention requirements. * Develops logistics program requirements, techniques and controls; and leads implementation efforts of requirements specific to forward and reverse logistics operations. * Logistics project management and solution development as required by internal and external customers and end users. * Partners regularly with multiple internal teams to achieve goals and work assignments including finance, purchasing, operations, manufacturing and the programs office. * Leads and performs analysis and verification to ensure consistency, traceability, feasibility and completeness; recommends and implements process improvements. * Works closely with our established Global 3rd Party Logistics network; solicits transportation quotes and performs cost analysis. * Works with established 3rd Party Network, manages complex transportation (forward and reverse) moves throughout the world as required by internal Program Office and Customers. * Develops and implements required logistics practices and processes; and develops policies, procedures and tools specific to international shipping. * May provide leadership and training to less experienced staff. * Knowledgeable of and keeps current with Shipping, Receiving, Transportation and Trade Compliance procedures including but not limited to the IATA and DOT transportation policies. Job Qualifications Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and three or more years of experience as a business process analyst working with computerized management systems to include, but not limited to, product life cycle systems. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education. Must have a complete understanding of logistics business process/life cycle management principles, theories and concepts and a general understanding of aeronautical industry practices, techniques, and standards.
