Oversees and manages all logistics activities and related systems information in manufacturing
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to supply chain services; inventory control; or critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, shipment of products from place of origin to point of delivery, third-party warehousing, and shipping/receiving activities.
Managing warehouse through subcontractor, manage shipments through a subcontractor, managing with economic efficiency.
Interface with Global Logistics, UPS, manufacturing department, communications center and service department
80% independent, 20% team
Understands ERP, SAP, any enterprises systems and office applications
Travel may be required
Degree in Logistics, Business Administration or Industrial Engineer preferred
10 years logistics experience
Experience in warehouse and international shipping
Data warehouse experience is preferred
Initiate and improve processes
Strong computer skills
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
