The Defense & Intelligence Group of Leidos has an opening for a Logistics Manager in the National Capital Region. Exact position location within the NCR to be determined.

JOB SUMMARY:

Logistics Manager in support of the US Navy Next Generation Enterprise Networks Re-compete (NGEN-R) program. NGEN-R is the Next Generation contract procurement of information technology (IT) services for the Navy and Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI). As the Logistics Manager, manage a large-scale enterprise environment coordinating Logistics Management activities. Logistics Management includes the personnel, processes, and tools required to sustain NGEN services and the associated Navy Marine Corp Intranet (NMCI) and ONE- Net infrastructure (e.g. hardware, software, and facilities). The Logistics Manager will lead the development and delivery of Shareable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) compliant Interactive Courseware (ICW) for End User, IT Operations, Customer Technical Representative, and Process and Tool training services. Additionally, the Logistics Manager, will lead the development and implementation of supply chain risk management (SCRM) processes and procedures to mitigate supply chain risks

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the Leidos primary representative to the Government on all Logistical related matters for the NMCI.

  • Ensure all personnel responsible for transporting classified equipment or information are approved and designated IAW DoD and Navy Policy.

  • In coordination with the Government, lead the development of recommendations and mitigations for hazards, safety, and health risks.

  • Provide direction and guidance on the demilitarization and disposal of Hardware and Software at cleared Leidos or Government facilities in accordance with DoD and DON policy and regulations.

  • Provide direction and oversight for tracking and managing warranties for existing and newly procured Government equipment in accordance with DOD and DON policies.

  • Lead the overall planning and provide execution guidance on preventive maintenance and corrective repairs.

  • Administer the Return of Material Approval (RMA) process for the repair or replacement of OEM equipment.

  • Prepare Monthly Maintenance Activity and Monthly Status Reports capturing all activity related to services in support of equipment.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant logistics experience.

  • Specific experience supervising or leading teams or projects.

  • Demonstrated experience managing assets for a large-scale enterprise.

  • Demonstrated supply chain risk management experience.

  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of DoD and Navy policy regarding the handling and transporting of classified equipment or information.

  • Currently possess a DoD Secret security clearance or higher.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior Navy NGEN or NMCI experience.

  • Prior Navy ONE-Net experience.

  • Experience with SCORM interactive courseware.
