Overview
The Logistics Manager is responsible for managing any logistics and systems related needs for the warehouse business.
Responsibilities
Lead physical Inventories and process final counts
Run weekly variance reports and process cycle counts
Manage the end of day processes in WM/SAP
Manage the inventory stored at the cross-dock facilities
Manage all system related processes between SAP/WM/Bastian/Savanna
Set up any WMS new users
Manage any configurations to the WMS
Verify all system related interfaces
Work with IT to develop/implement new processes
Create WM reports as needed and run ad-hoc reports to review inventory data
Create SQVI (SAP Reporting) to review data as needed
Manage a team responsible for the processing of all credits, returns, and the checking out of local drivers
Be the first call for any issues related to the WMS printers/label machines
Work with Management to maintain efficiencies with all daily scheduling and processes
Work on product transfers to other distributors/warehouses - adjust inventory in both WM and SAP before invoicing
Review KPI's and look for ways to improve
Help wave and clear any shortages in a timely manner
Run special waves - for high end & allocated product
Run non-conveyable item waves
Manage the daily moves for the Warehouse Team & run the demand jobs for Night Shift
Manage daily slotting projects based on sales velocity and new item set-up
Run and release preview waves & demand replenishments for any Night Shift needs. Create tasks & run the job 3-4 times a day
Conduct cycle counts, to avoid pick-omits
Count & verify items for Brand Managers, Purchasing, and Sales
Review Sync Report between WM and Savanna (ASRS)
Make inbound receiving adjustments and receive any PO's with interface errors
Research PO issues and work with Finance to correct/adjust accordingly
Transfer product between SKU'S for Vintages/VAP's in SAP and WM1.
Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
Experience in purchasing, logistics, inventory replenishment or similar industry preferred
Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
Verbal/written communication skills, as well as customer service skills
Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
