As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT OFFICER, GS-0346-12, this position is located in the Logistics Readiness Squadron, Mission Support Group at an Air National Guard Wing. The purpose of this position is to serve as a Senior Technician of the Logistics Readiness Squadron. Functions as a senior technical advisor as well as the supervisor of logistics readiness operations including but not limited to: readiness; logistics planning; resource management; supply and transportation support; procedures and systems; etc. Provides training to unit members in the accomplishment of the tasks of the squadron mission.
1.Supervisor: Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
2.Wing Advisor: Provides technical advice and assistance to wing leadership on business processes and performance and efficiency of logistics readiness functions of the squadron/ wing. Provides technical oversight for squadron plans, goals and standards for readiness and performance capabilities of the squadron. Responsible for programs associated with squadron business processes, resource management (facilities, equipment, budget, stock control and infrastructure), squadron analysis, systems management, strategic planning, metrics and training.
3.LRS Training, Resources and Systems: Manages and performs work for providing training, resources, and systems to ensure the efficient and effective operation of installation deployment processes.
4.Wing Logistics Readiness Representative: Represents the wing regarding logistics readiness issues at meetings within the organization and at conferences. with JFHQ-State,
5.LRS Management: Plans, organizes, and maintains oversight of the activities of the Logistics Readiness Squadron, ensuring the planning efforts and work products and services of all the squadron functions comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and contingency planning objectives.
6.Performs other duties as assigned.

National Guard Membership is required. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.

Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret Security clearance.
Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.

GENERAL and SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Your submitted documents will be reviewed for the competencies, knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the job duty listed above. Within your resume you will need to detail your capabilities. You will need to demonstrate 36 months of experience which has shown work involved performing or supervising staff work in planning and coordinating logistical support activities to provide the money, manpower, material, facilities, and services needed to support a specified mission at the time and place they are needed. Experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. Experience using computer and automation systems along with the detailed specialized experience related to this position.
