ABOUT THIS POSITION
The candidate will be responsible for logistics Request For Services (RFS) from our Air Traffic Control (ATC), Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) and PM Air Warrior (PMAW) customers. This is a lead position requiring a wide array of skills and experience. The ideal candidate will possess 20 years of combined logistics/leadership experience. This position will encompass a variety of products to include both military and commercial customers. It will be necessary for this candidate to possess the computer skills associated with performing these tasks along with task management skills, work instructions for subordinates and inventory spreadsheets. The idea candidate will also demonstrate a thorough understanding of Total Package Fielding and Life Cycle Management.
Technical Training experience such as New Equipment Training (NET) or "Train the Trainer" is a plus.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and 12 years of experience
Must be flexible and willing to move between projects and tasks quickly and as needed
Must have the ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team
Must be proficient in office procedures and possess good writing and verbal skills
Most possess knowledge and interest of Army Aviation equipment.
Must have experience working with ATC electronic assemblies, power systems, and electrical components
Duties and Responsibilities
Participates in the development and implementation of projects, work methods, and procedures
Recommends changes to improve efficiency
Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources
Compiles, reviews, and analyzes data
Provides data and information to others on department processes and procedures
Performs administrative tasks in the support of customers
Assists with outsourcing duties
Communicates with vendors and customers
Effectively communicate with engineers, project managers, and section managers on cost and schedule
Provides status to management team as issues arise
Draft monthly project status reports
Promote and practice Safety in the Organization, maintaining awareness of and implementing all applicable safety procedures
Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization
Perform other duties as assigned/required.
Local candidates preferred; relocation package not available.
