Required:

Experience for logistic work (knowledge for export/import, custom clearance related)

Indian Land area, or live no more than 30 minutes away from the company.

Good computer skills (outlook email, excel , word and ERP system operation skills)

Responsible for the day to day management of the logistics function, ensuring cost, effectiveness and timely management of shipping/receiving, update transit cost to use best rate for Imports and Exports.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES :

  • Organizing and scheduling shipping/receiving for import-export with company requirements.

  • Generating and ensuring the accuracy, integrality for all import / export documentation.

  • Timely preparation for import documentation and authorization for all air and sea shipments globally.

  • Prepare and update a shipping/ delivery schedule, communicate in-time with all relevant departments for changes;

  • Initiate and control all documents for raw materials and finished goods received, shipping or transferred

  • Verify and payment applying in system for all freight invoices/forwarder agent invoices.

  • Maintains cargo database, ensures the accuracy and completion all the time.

  • Evaluate the shipping carrier's performance monthly and quarterly such as on-time performance/error rate etc.

  • Process customer orders in system and create production order to the plants' production team.

  • Verify and payment applying for all client agent invoices.

  • Support customer's requirement on extra documents needs.

  • Other coordinate job duties between departments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate in departments between sales, production, warehouse, and accounting, to ensure and improve the smooth in day by day work.

Support a good logistic and sales coordination service to customers.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Computer and office work skills, Microsoft operation skills.

  • Analytical skills. DATA base maintenance.

  • Communication skills. Excellent written and verbal professional communication skills.

  • Detail oriented.

  • Organizational skills. Deal with a range of information and documents and so must stay organized to do their jobs effectively.

  • Must be a self-starter and driven to succeed

  • Effective communication with all levels of the company departments, customers and carriers

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in applicable field preferred

2 years or above experience as an International Logistics Specialist, preferred manufacturing environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment

Such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.

Prolonged sitting in an office.

ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to tolerate indoor work environment.
