Role Purpose Statement: Provide an opportunity for a student to obtain hands-on experience in the Airline related Assembly and Equipment and Sanitation departments.
Project: The intern will act as a fully integrated team member and will focus in supporting key customer accounts including other departments.
Key Interfaces: Internal: Human Resources and Operations External: Various agencies and departments
Responsible for supporting all airline food production related activities.
Work with the managers and supervisors on developing new and innovative products and processes for our airline customers.
Ability to work with cross functional teams consisting of several different internal & external departments..
Participate in team process improvement strategies and menu development projects.
Participate and support all company sponsored initiatives.
Support all company extracurricular events and activities.
Hands on participation in menu presentations
Hands on production in the flight kitchen.
Must be motivated, organized and possess good communication and presentation skills
Must be flexible in the schedule
Ability to work in a 24/7 airline production work environment with extreme temperatures
Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week including weekends and commit to a 3-month program

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Completed or actively pursuing a Bachelors degree in Logistics, Hospitality management, Transportation, Business or Economics (GPA 3.0 or better)
6 months to 1 year experience in logistics, transportation, hospitality
Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, including presenting, writing and editing
Excellent time management and organizational skills, as well as being a self-motivated
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
