QuantiTech is currently seeking a Logistics Equipment Specialist to support our Rotary Wing customer in Warner Robins, GA.


Duties to include, but not limited to:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in reading, interpreting, and researching technical data and product drawings.

  • Assist the Government in supporting, coordinating, and scheduling aircraft modifications and Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) related activities including, but not limited to site/aircraft surveys, major inspections, trial instillations, physical configuration inspections, physical configuration audits, kit proofs and production instillations.

  • Travel to CONUS/OCONUS Government locations or weapon system contractor facilities to assist the Government with providing maintenance assistance, support, problem resolution, and medication program development and field support visits.

  • Provide logistical and technical expertise including but not limited to evaluation of organizational, intermediate, commodity, IETMS and depot Technical Orders (TOs) affected by common or unique modifications.

  • Assist with review and verification of TOs; the specific information shall be verified through direct access to the affected avionics systems, weapons system platform, operators and maintainers and shall be submitted in the form of attachments to the technical reports.

  • Review and provide source data for TCTOs to ensure technical validity.

  • Assist the Government with providing logistical and technical expertise in researching TOs, associated data for completeness, correctness, and accuracy, and providing recommended changes.

  • Review documents, drawings, and engineering technical data generated to resolve deficiencies at system/subsystem level.

  • Manage GFM for all aircraft in repair, overhaul, and modification at Contractor facilities.

  • Assist with update and maintenance of documentation/storage records, coordination of destination and shipping mode, development of shipping documents, coordinating movement, handling and shipping.

  • Track cost of the GFM for aircraft to prevent loss of funds.

  • Provide logistics trade studies, life cycle cost analysis, supportability and budget/cost analysis.

  • Review the aircraft Support Equipment Requirements Documents (SERDS) for accuracy and completeness and provide the results in the monthly status reports covering logistical support provided, document task status, data retrievable, contact issues and actions provide expenditures data as well as future task requirements, update cumulative cost versus estimated cost, and prepare expenditure rate charts that pilot actual and planned expenditures and man-hours used against time.

  • Assist with management and sustainment of associated aircraft to include but not limited to maintenance analysis support, joint depot specification support, supply support, and Operational and Maintenance (O&M) budgets, and subsequent funding cycles.

  • Aid in the development/updating documentation including but not limited to studies and analysis of modification related issues, provisioning lists, ACAT documentation, PPPs, LCMP, Life Cycle Management System (LCMS), and risk management plans.


  • Must have an active and transferrable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance.

  • BA/BS degree, and 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 3 of which must be in the DoD

  • OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, 5 of which must be in the DoD.

  • Must be proficient with the systems/programs such as, but not limited to, REMIS, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) Aging Fleet Integrity and Reliability Management (AFIRM), Engineering Data Information Server (EDIS), Enhanced Technical Management System (ETIMS), Item Management Control System (IMCS), Joint Engineering Management Information Control System (JEDMICS), PDM Gateway, and Technical Manual Information System (TMIS)

VIEW JOBS 5/19/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-08-17T00:00 Title: Logistics Specialist (C-130 System Modifications - Robins AFB) This role will function as a Logistics Specialist to assist with the planning, managing, and coordination of life-cycle logistics support for the C-130 System Modifications program office. Specific experience in operational logistics planning and management with the ability to perform independent work, provide logistics planning, scheduling, execution and support system effectiveness analysis, studies and evaluations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Application of logistics knowledge to perform various tasks related to planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive, affordable, and effective system support strategy * Provide criticality analyses to support the Integrated Life Cycle Management (ILCM) of aeronautical systems for integrity programs encompassing AFLCMC aircraft's avionics, structures, propulsion, mechanical equipment, and subsystems * Apply Logistics Management and Planning Tools such as Government Furnished Property Acquisition Management System (GFPAMS) and More Value Support System (MVSS) with engineering and analytical disciplines to assess the processes and products used in the fabrication, manufacture, and installation of platform configurations. Review program documentation (e.g. concept, requirements, design, manuals, reports, deficiency/change reports and program schedules) to ensure that established security requirements are adequately addressed and sustained * Assess/manage material and service deficiency reports IAW Technical Order (T.O.) 00-35D-54 * Review production engineering changes, waivers, deviations, and/or alterations for their impact on performance, reliability, maintainability, availability, quality, safety and life cycle cost. * Provide technical analysis at pre/post-publication reviews and verification reviews of technical orders for both MIL-STD and COTS * Conduct Deport Source of Repair and Life Cycle Management Plan updates while considering cost and supportability factors during analysis of source of repair for designated systems and components in the supply chain * Utilize knowledge of USAF supply chain processes, governing policies, manuals, and instructions for implementation for program milestones * Identify training requirements and develop training plans * Provide analyses of configuration, deliveries, and deficiencies * Assist with the integration of training systems and maintenance training device requirements into production program plans and documentation * Ability to work independently as well as with other team members * Perform document review and editing, as requested * Participate in integrated logistics support management meetings, PMRs, and related meetings * Analyze, organize, plan and administer various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more basic programs using established procedures * Analyze basic contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements * Assist in developing logistics plans in order to enhance distribution of goods and supplies * Follow established policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control * Assist in conducting distribution and network studies, monitor inventory and analyze requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: BS/BA degree (or the equivalent combination of education and experience) and 10 years of relevant experience desired.
