The Raytheon Technologies Global Training & Logistics team has multiple professional openings for a LOGISTICS ENGINEERS to be based in ORLANDO, FL. The Logistics Engineer will apply their application support experience to support and conduct obsolescence and supportability analysis. Core competencies include Reliability and Maintainability Engineering, Affordability Engineering, Risk and Opportunity Management, Logistics Engineering, Training, Technical Publications, Parts Availability/COTS Management, Parts and Materials Control Board (PMCB), Spares and Material Management, Repair & Upgrade, Depot/Field Engineering, Systems Integrity, Failure Reporting and corrective Action System (FRACAS), and Availability Engineering.

CITIZENSHIP DISCLOSURE:

  • Candidate must be a United States Citizen, able to obtain/maintain a US Government security clearance (up to TS/SCI) and also eligible to obtain any necessary Export Authorization.

  • An active/current clearance up to TS/SCI, eligible for crossover, is preferred.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent from an accredited university and at least eight (8) years of related experience.

  • Reviews field support requirements and recommends tool and test equipment.

  • Establishes calibration requirements for field systems/equipment including all maintenance tasks.

  • Performs maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers.

  • Reviews handbooks for technical adequacy. Assists in the development of maintenance engineering and logistics support.

  • Plans and contributes to proposal efforts

  • Providing general engineering support for development of a sustainment model for a new program

  • Supporting the development of engineering white papers and presentations to help inform customers and guide support decisions

  • Supporting the development of supportability analyses which provide recommendations for long term product support, including spares recommendations, maintenance procedure updates, and parts and materials substitutions as needed

  • Ensuring the technical integrity, suitable quality and adherence to standards for logistics artifacts through engagement in peer reviews, program reviews, design reviews, failure review boards, investigation teams, and working groups

  • Acting as a liaison with all engineering disciplines on the program

  • Developing operator-level and maintainer-level documentation

  • Collaborating with different teams to ensure positive technical results while balancing goals, approaches, and risks.

Explore: Raytheon Intelligence & Space The Program Chief Engineer will lead our engineering and technical team based in Orlando, FL. The Program Chief Engineer is responsible for the technical execution and design of a program overseeing all technical aspects and is accountable to the Program Manager. The technical execution and design of a program includes the technical solution, performance of the technical team (cost and schedule), management of the program technical team, and producing customer reviews and deliverables. Technical aspects of the program include providing Engineering oversite for Infrastructure and Application development and integration in an Agile and DevOps Environment. The program will manage and support the development of technology insertions, integrating software and hardware enhancements into the training environment while maintaining a level of capability that will enable customers to conduct remote training, exercises, mission rehearsals and certification from distributed locations. The Program Chief Engineer will lead the establishment of processes and infrastructure enhancements needed to support updates to the customer utilizing Agile and Dev/Ops techniques. TYPICAL DUTIES: The Program Chief Engineer serves as the primary day-to-day contact between Raytheon and the customer program Chief Engineer. The Program Chief Engineer provides direction and guidance to a cross-functional team working closely with subordinate engineers to address daily question and issues which may arise in the course of completing work against schedules and deadlines. This role requires the ability to quickly make effective decisions in order to resolve issues. TRAVEL EXPECATIONS: The position may require the ability to travel to various government facilities up to 20% of the time.
