Title: Logistics Engineer
Location: Freeport, TX
Salary: $93,000 - $145,000 plus additional bonus
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5-8s; 9/80s.

Focus: The Logistics Engineer is a lead technical resource to coach and assist the Marine Storage team which owns assets that support multiple plants and businesses. Key objectives are to optimize and improve safety, efficiency, equipment reliability and reliability of supply. Additionally, this role resolves daily plant issues, drives small and large improvements, and shares knowledge to strengthen the performance of the team
Logistics Engineer Essential Job Functions:
Serve as Subject Matter Expert in equipment failures and repair techniques during root cause investigations, as well as providing expertise on troubleshooting failures and repairs.
Ensure regulatory and responsible care compliance via operating and maintenance discipline.
Participate when required in advanced trouble shooting, coach others to learn these skills, and ensure findings are documented for future usage.
Responsible for maintaining technical documentation for all Marine Storage equipment, including vessel inspections, equipment changeouts, and significant equipment cleaning. Involved in coordination of scheduling and execution of equipment and pipeline inspections in his/her area of responsibility.
Shares on-call responsibilities with other plant personnel. Help coordinate area of responsibility during planned shutdown and maintenance activities.
Logistics Engineer Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree* in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
1+ years of project/manufacturing experience
Experience with managing vendor proposals and quotations, contractor bids and development of desired solutions for projects preferred
Knowledge of OSHA 1910.119 PSM standard preferred
Demonstrated ability to problem solve and work in a team environment. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills - verbal and written
Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred
Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
