Logistics Coordinator

Summary Winsupply Support Services (WSS) provides support to entrepreneurs that run Winsupply’s 650 local companies- Winsupply local companies are shared equity partners with Winsupply Inc. WSS is a flat matrix that provides the ability to work collaboratively on solutions for departments within WSS. The Logistics Coordinator will support the WSS Transportation department within an individual regional distribution center.

Winsupply is looking for a talented and qualified logistics coordinator to join our Dayton RDC Team. In this position you will oversee all transportation and logistics for the Dayton RDC on a daily basis. A successful candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail and leadership abilities in order to oversee daily operations.

In addition to having excellent organizational skills, you should also possess in-depth knowledge of logistics and transportation. Responsibilities Manage Waves and Plans for Dayton RDC Oversee optimization of shipments with the TMS Collaborate with Dayton RDC shipping team for efficiency in processes Lead and carry vision of logistics team goals Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures at the Regional Distribution Center Track and Trace loads Work with carriers when directly booking loads Notify customers of shipment progress Ensuring the saving and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments Monitoring shipments; cost, timelines and productivity Shipment issue resolution Work directly with Local company presidents to create a trusted long-term partnership and resolve outstanding issues.
