Logistics Coordinator

Large manufacturing company in Farmington is looking for a International Logistics and Purchasing Coordinator. Do you have experience with shipping items internationally? This is a direct hire opportunity 45-50k.

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving incoming air and sea packages by container number

  • Coordinate international shipments to make sure they are on time

  • Prepare purchase orders

  • Expedite

  • Ensure all order are in compliance with contacts

  • Prepare all shipping documents

*understand tariffs and international laws

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:

*understanding of tariffs and international shipping customs and laws

  • Expediting and vendor relations

*tracking of shipments

VIEW JOBS 9/11/2018 12:00:00 AM 2018-12-10T00:00 Risk & Regulatory Consulting, LLC Project Coordinator Position Description: The Project Coordinator position is primarily responsible for supporting the compliance and proposal function to facilitate the timely compliance review and completion of proposals. You will also be responsible for performing various projects for management, including extensive analysis of data for practice lines, meeting the timely delivery of services and deliverables. Responsibilities will include: * Assist in the initial proposal document (may include response to formal RFPs and RFQs as well as requests for information proposals). * Assist in monitoring proposal opportunities and identifying opportunities for practice to pursue. * Write key sections that need to be customized and assemble boilerplate and technical information from various appropriate sources; edit entire document to produce working and rough drafts (could apply to proposals or presentations) * Ensure message quality, format, and content meet the stated objective and are consistent with firm wide strategy and communication guidelines * Maintain vendor procurement websites with current data * Maintain the engagement evaluation system for practice (running system data and performing reconciliation, distribution to responsible party, tracking evaluations as completed) * Perform the setup of new clients in system and validating compliance documentation as needed * Assist with contract comparisons, noting differences in contracts and summarizing for partner. Track master contracts and letter agreements on all engagements for compliance. * Perform conflict checks as required and maintain required file documentation * Assist user group with various ad hoc requests using the data available in billing systems to provide necessary management reporting * Serve as back up resource for staffing systems and various supporting schedules to improve resource utilization * Participate in various projects that require tracking, compliance components and communicating with stakeholders to obtain necessary information * Perform other duties as assigned or requested. Qualifications * Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, Consulting, Administration * 4+ years relevant experience in a professional services firm preferred * Proficiency in the Microsoft Windows environment and Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint * Strong Excel is a must including filters, V-look ups and pivot tables * Effective organization and time management skills * Proven application of critical thinking and analytics * Ability to work in a team environment with a variety of professionals - but at the same time work independently, with minimal supervision * Detail-oriented; creative and independent thinker focused on quality. * Organization skills: able to prioritize tasks, manage a large number of multi-stage projects and complete them in a timely fashion * Experience using market research tools, particularly Internet-based applications * Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including presentation expertise * When applying add your resume as an attachment RRC was formerly a business segment of McGladrey until 2012 when the separate legal entity was formed.
