Logistics Coordinator

Large manufacturing company in Farmington is looking for a International Logistics and Purchasing Coordinator. Do you have experience with shipping items internationally? This is a direct hire opportunity 45-50k.

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving incoming air and sea packages by container number

  • Coordinate international shipments to make sure they are on time

  • Prepare purchase orders

  • Expedite

  • Ensure all order are in compliance with contacts

  • Prepare all shipping documents

*understand tariffs and international laws

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:

*understanding of tariffs and international shipping customs and laws

  • Expediting and vendor relations

*tracking of shipments

Responsible for tools and technology enabling configuration, pricing, quoting, and booking of new equipment globally. Develops, implements and supports integrations of the platform with both existing and new globally and regionally deployed systems. Drives and implements best practices across the DevOps teams to deliver excellent results and continuous improvement across the platform. Job Responsibilities * Provide leadership and day-to-day oversight and strategy of the digital sales platform * Partner with business leaders to identify and prioritize platform initiatives and opportunities, to incorporate into the product roadmap * Analyze industry and technology trends and develop strategies to implement to ensure the platform is keeping pace with evolving technologies * Communicate priorities and status of initiatives to stakeholders * Lead team composed of internal and external resources to successfully drive and deliver outcomes * Drive efforts to continuously improve the systems to address and stay in front of sales team needs and desires. * Negotiate, develop and manage statements of work, contracts, and procurement with external suppliers * Develop and maintain the digital technology budget including DevOps, software licensing, hardware, vendor management, human resources, and all related component costs * Lead, manage and support platform release and change management * Partner with teams supporting infrastructure, database, network, and operations to provide high availability and scalable performance of the platform * Ensure maintenance of integration playbooks for data exchange with new solutions and platforms as they are deployed across the company. * Drive agile development methodology best practices across the teams * Identify opportunities and drive migration of appropriate solution components to the cloud to deliver savings, performance, scalability, improved reliability, and always-on availability * Establish DevOps improvement plan utilizing Key Performance and Risk Indicators to measure progress and drive continuous improvement. * Promote the evolution of Web-Services for transaction based data exchange amongst platforms * Enhance monitoring and alerting processes and solutions * Ensure the platform complies with company security, export control and local data regulation requirements Qualifications * Minimum 10 years of experience leading and managing diverse, global software development and operations teams (25+) of employees and/or contingent workers * Minimum 10 years of experience in information technology, with a focus on software engineering, cloud, SaaS, PaaS, 3rd party software, data management, program management, budget management * Experience with Microsoft technology stack * Experience in process development and implementation that spans organizational boundaries. * Ability to effectively influence and direct the actions of those not within the direct reporting chain is critical * Expert in managing technologies, development processes and operational practices * Problem solving and analytical abilities including the ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and apply sound business knowledge * Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, verbal, written communication and technical skills are essential. * Ability to build and maintain customer relationships, and a strong team player * Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities Education * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related discipline desired * Master's Degree preferred but not required * Or equivalent work experience may be considered for this role United Technologies Corporation is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
