Logistics Coordinator

Mechanical Systems Company LLC is a fully licensed Mechanical and Plumbing contractor in Memphis, TN. We focus on working with commercial and industrial customers, providing quality workmanship and the absolute best value for the price.

We are growing and currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator to help us monitor supply chains and shipments.

Work Hours: 40 hours Monday through Friday; occasional overtime may be required

Rate of Pay: Starting at $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Required Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalent

• 2 - 3 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook

• Intermediate computer proficiency

• Attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties:

• Monitor supply chains and shipments

• Engage in regular communication and build strong relationships with internal MSC clients

• Ensure timely schedules for MSC client orders

• Prioritize job site deliveries and route drivers accordingly

• Support training efforts on MSC protocol for internal customers with warehouse, materials, and equipment requests

• Maintain accurate and consistent records

• Address errors to promote internal MSC client satisfaction

• Manage inventory databases

• Lead operator for Cycle Counts

• Assist with the administration of full inventory

• Champion efficiency and recycling efforts to reduce waste

• Train as a backup to our Warehouse Manager

• Other job duties as assigned
