Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Coordinate shipments of export orders in support of external and internal customers. Position interfaces with CSRs and account managers and works closely with third part logistics provider. Specific duties include:
Configure and determine number of containers needed to support export order bookings, to meet specific customer requirements and maximize cost savings.
Determine FG stock availability, manage stock between sales orders, and work with charting and master scheduler to fulfill export requirements.
Process export orders and miscellaneous shipments in SAP.
Contact external container lines, freight forwarders, and trucking companies to ensure equipment is scheduled and available.
Assure OTIF performance by notifying scheduling and CSRs of potential missed shipments.
Work with third party Inventory Manager to identify/resolve inventory issues impacting shipping.
Create all associated logistic related documentation and retain according to corporate guidelines.
Performs other reasonable duties in the area of overall responsibility, as requested by Management.
Teamwork
Cooperate with leadership and peers to enhance job performance and a spirit of teamwork.
Provide backup coverage for Essential Materials Coordinator with specific responsibilities of:
Processing raw material receipts in SAP and associated COAs
Tactical scheduling for inbound tolling and processing flat files for PO receipt
Give daily direction to third party logistics personnel in order to meet customer requirements.
Manage the various responsibilities of the position in an efficient manner.
Work with BPI on system and process improvements.
Inventory Management
Process Customer Returns in SAP, coordinate return inspections with Quality and Tech.
Perform monthly inventory write offs with input from production and inventory.
Capture write off history in monthly excel file.
Resolve SAP errors to include but not limited to-fix invalid rolls, block/unblock stock and transaction corrections.
Investigate and resolve Grey Coat rolls.
Investigate non confirming base rolls, create Non-Conformance Reports, coordinate base returns with vendors.
Manage base receipt process
Perform SAP inter plant transfers as needed.
Provide backup for tactical base planner. Responsibilities include updating base delivery schedule, coordinate/schedule deliveries with carriers, coordinate deliveries.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
SAP knowledge and experience
Ability to work with common PC software tools such as Microsoft Office applications.
Must have mathematical aptitude.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
