Learn more at www.westrock.com.Summary of Position:We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate and administrate the compiling and record keeping of the needed documentation in order to maintain our transportation carriers status in our system. This role will assist mode managers with rates, analysis and various projects as well as send and receive carrier contracts, and work with legal, credit, risk and procurement management to ensure all parties sign off on contract negotiations. The duties performed by this position will help eliminate the risk of fines by government agencies and potential lawsuits due to accidents involving carriers used by the company.Principal AccountabilitiesTruckload, Intermodal, Dedicated, and LTL carrier contract coordination and resolution

Renew carrier documentation

Administer and maintain changes to carrier documentation status

Provide analytical support for project testing

Create carrier profile in database, Cass, OTM, SAP, SOM, AS400, Transplace, and JDE-CorrugatedInitially obtain and continuously maintain the required level of insurance and carrier legal docs and industry certificates, and continuous validation of carriers operating authority statuses in database

Run weekly report of all active and approved carriers

Act as departments internal portal administrator and manage the carrier service portal while determining root cause and developing action plans between the carriers and facilities

Provide freight rate estimates to facilities, customer service, and operations

Run, send and track bi-weekly rate addendums to send to carrier vendors

Main point of contact for internal and external audit requests

Provide backup support to other departments

Qualifications and Special SkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Transportation Management, Supply Chain Management or Logistics is preferred. Knowledge of transportation rate structures desired.Knowledge of transportation management systems (OTM, Manhattan, Transplace) desired.In depth knowledge of all modes of transportation desired.Good written and verbal communication skills

As a District Asset Protection Leader you will implement asset protection objectives, and administers asset protection programs. You will provide assistance and training to the field operations teams to address specific asset protection issues with an assigned span of control. You will enforce asset protection and shrinkage control programs to protect assets from loss due to internal/external theft and operational compliance issues. Additional duties and responsibilities: * You will complete store health assessments to ensure overall operational compliance in assigned stores. * You will coordinate and supervise the use of outside agencies for security functions within assigned markets. * You will conduct timely, ethical, and professional investigations of all potential internal theft incidents. * You will maintain professional liaison with all local law enforcement officials to ensure appropriate coordination of investigations and/or prosecutions. * You will facilitate meetings and training to all levels of field personnel as required due to market needs and priorities. * You will attain budgeted results for shrink and P&L performance within your assigned market. Required Qualifications * Minimum of 5 years experience in retail loss prevention management * Minimum of 2 years experience with multiple store responsibility * Knowledge of conducting legal and ethical investigations * Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time * Must possess a valid and current driver's license * Must possess personal vehicle which company deems reasonably reliable and is appropriately insured Preferred Qualifications * LP Qualified (LPQ) or LP Certified (LPC) preferred. * You have excellent communication skills. * You have experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel. * You have the ability to build positive relationships throughout an organization. * You work well in a team environment and give. as well as accept, constructive criticism Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of related professional work experience in combination with years of education may be considered in lieu of a degree.
