AOC is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator. This is a newly created, independent contributor role reporting directly to the Vice President, Manufacturing. This position will strategically optimize AOC's logistics and supply chain activities across all relevant departments. In this role, the Logistics Coordinator manages the warehouse and distribution network, improves inventory, materials management and purchasing processes for the TN Resins and Colorants operations.

Using AOC's operations specifics, the person in this role will implement a comprehensive set of inventory management protocols, leveraging order sizes and patterns for best delivered costs.

The Logistics Coordinator will also work with Procurement in developing supply risk management protocols that are adaptable to changing market conditions and working capital targets.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have a BS/BA Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or related field of study, Masters preferred.
  • 7 years of experience with vendor/carrier experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with procurement, inventory and scheduling teams across all levels of the organization
  • Experience in facilitating change and implementing new procedures
  • Prior experience with rail, HAZMAT, resin or chemical industry is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Local Candidates preferred

Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. * Two or more years of experience working with project management and customer service is required. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Occasional travel is required.
