Tooling Asset Technician/ Chemical Technician

Job Description:

This individual will be working in a team environment supporting the production of precision optical components used in various applications.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Performing logistics transactions for shipping and receiving material. The role reuires material handling using forklifts, pallet jacks, two wheel dollies, and carts, Additionally, this individual will be responsible for ordering and managing chemicals used in four manufacturing areas within the site. Beyond the previously described duties, the individual will act as a substitute in the logistics area when someone is out for the day. Job requires standing 80-90% and walking short distances 10-20%, bending at the waist 20%, lifting and/or carrying < 15lbs.

  • knowledge of receiving procedures including:

  • verifying quantities received against bill of lading, contracts, purchase requests, and shipping documents
