About the Role: The EM5 Fabrics Logistics Team is seeking a self-motivated team player to join our team with the ability to cross train across facilities. In this role, you will help ensure that we are meeting our operations objectives and business needs. The candidate is expected to adhere to appropriate safety, quality, and productivity requirements with the ability to support all of our internal and external stakeholders. The ability to work in an Export Controlled Environment is a necessity for this position. The shift hours are 3:00 p.m.
This role will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland.
Please note that evening, night and weekend shift positions are eligible for an additional $2/hour shift differential pay (in California, the shift differential pay is $2.40/hour).

Responsibilities:
Manage material movement between receiving and shipping docks and warehouse
Transfer materials to appropriate locations in the warehouse and/or manufacturing staging locations following defined processes like Kanban, VMI Supplies, etc
Pull and stage raw materials and supplies for manufacturing, utilizing several types of material handling equipment
Perform cycle counting and inventory reconciliation
Utilize quality systems, work instructions, and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to consistently deliver products that meet customer requirements, both internal & external
Follow and advocate safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment
Utilize bar code scanning for transferring material and accurately tracking inventory
Be responsible for personal development, including appropriate education and training
Package non-regulated finished goods materials for domestic and international shipment
Understand and promote the Gore culture
Required Qualifications:
Must have experience or be willing to learn how to operate a forklift, and all other material handling equipment in a process-oriented environment
Demonstrated basic computer system experience, and the ability to learn new systems as required by the business
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated basic reading and math skills (arithmetic/UOM conversion)
Demonstrated strong organizational skills are required, with a proven ability to anticipate, recognize, and analyze problems and implement appropriate solutions
Must be self-directed, motivated, flexible, and able to adjust quickly to changing business environment and priorities
Demonstrated ability to work independently, and as a team member within, and across functions
Demonstrated ability to multi task and set priorities
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as required to support warehouse operations
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and alternate between shifts as needed
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year logistics-warehouse experience
Experience using Warehouse Power Industrial Equipment.
Minimum 2 years Post-High School Education
