The Logistics Associate (Forklift Operator) is responsible for the safe, accurate and timely delivery of materials to lines, storage of incoming raw materials in the warehouse and loading of outbound shipments to customers, storage of finished product in the warehouse, processing inbound shipments and outbound loads, maintaining accurate inventory, housekeeping, and other related functions.

What You Will Do:
Move, label and store finished product from production lines into specified locations in Warehouse
Properly receive, unload and store incoming materials or deliver directly to lines
Maintain accurate inventories at all times
Supply production lines with materials required to produce finished product in a timely fashion
Uses various pieces of equipment (forklift, manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, reach truck, and propane lift) to move pallets
Pick full pallets of product from warehouse and stage for loading or load direct onto trucks
Verifies quantities, quality of items and proper labeling of products that are being shipped
Examines all packaging and contents of items for conformance to customer specifications and verifies all information against the packing list and SAP
Perform pre-load trailer inspection
Identifies items with a quantity discrepancy and promptly communicates with Supervisor and/or Lead
Maintains the 5S cleanliness of warehouse area
Follows all safety procedures and policies

High school diploma or G.E.D. required
One year experience in plant or warehouse driving a forklift
Must be able to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations
Must be able to follow both written and verbal directions
Must be able to work overtime and weekends on a regular basis
Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam
Must be able to perform all physical duties
