The BAE Systems Amphibious programs supporting combat vehicles is seeking a Logistic Analyst to be responsible for a variety of warehousing duties, which will require an understanding of set up and operations of several mobile supply points, storage of spare parts, tooling and test equipment. Must possess the ability to create and enforce a safety, accountability, and physical security plan.
Work involves verifying materials against receiving documents, noting or reporting discrepancies, and instituting and enforcing good housekeeping practices. The Logistics Specialist reports to their assigned Field Service Manager to develop multiple mobile supply point storage plans, routing materials to prescribed storage locations, storing, stacking, palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed methods and shipment preparations in accordance with regulatory guidelines, relocating materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration/damage (if required). In addition, the use of hand tools, powered equipment, and material handling equipment, copier, and computer software (Microsoft Office to include the use of Word, PowerPoint and Excel) is routine. Candidate will be required to supervise personnel and must possess competent leadership skills to facilitate clear and concise direction when required.
The Candidate selected for this position must be familiar with IVECO Amphibious Combat Vehicle part numbers and special tools reference codes, Government Furnished equipment and material accountability, possess excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Must be able to function as part of a team or individually as situation dictates.
