Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and deeply process oriented Logistics Analyst to join our growing supply chain team. In the Logistics Analyst role, you will manage critical domestic and international shipments to support Tesla's vehicle production, service parts and energy distribution. This role will directly support remanufacturing of critical service and energy product. To be a successful candidate for this role you should be a self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and engaging cross-functionally within Tesla and across the extended supply chain.

  • Manage reverse shipping lanes across North America and partner regions (EMEA & APAC) and ensure stakeholders are provided with excellent service throughout the shipment process including quick response to inquiries and problem resolution.

  • Ensure that export process follows company and industry quality assurance standards (CI, Customs, etc.).

  • Issue statistical or detailed reporting for Stakeholders as requested.

  • Coordination of oversized and dangerous goods cargo for export shipments for the Tesla Megapack.

  • Booking and coordination of most cost effective and efficient means to export goods within expected requirements.

  • Conduct ongoing analysis to identify opportunity of cost saving, process streamline, and carrier KPI improvement.

  • Work cross-functionally with planning, manufacturing, distribution, procurement, service, and other organizations to meet key business goals and drive operational excellence.

  • Process and correct miscellaneous accounting issues.

  • Write or revise standard operating procedures (SOP) for logistics processes.

  • Some data entry.

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related area or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability.

  • 3+ years of professional experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics.

  • DG Certifications, preferred.

  • If not already DG Certified, ability to attend and successfully complete DG certification course (Tesla provided).

  • Computer skills are required (use of Word, Excel, and Outlook programs).

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to achieve success in situations with high degrees of variation and complexity.

  • Self-driven initiative to gain and implement a broad knowledge of logistics best practices.
