Job Summary

AECOM is actively recruiting for a junior/mid-level Logistician / Product Support Analyst performing a wide variety of logistic support tasks across all element areas providing contractor technical support services for the VIRGINIA (SSN 774) Class Submarine Program Management Office (PMS450) Product Support Division (PMS450F).

General duties include assisting government and assigned contractor support personnel in providing logistics program planning, analyses, studies, problem identification and resolution in support of the PMS450F Product Support Element Managers. Support will include providing assistance for the gathering and generation of the necessary logistics, engineering, financial and contract data to support the conduct of the Block V Independent Logistics Assessment (ILA). Generate other reports and documentation as directed.

Prepare routine correspondence, spreadsheets, GANTT charts, presentations and prepare analytical reports and meeting minutes. Direct liaison with PMS450 customers required to discuss logistics issues, resolutions and status and provide advice on logistics topics.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Logistics or related job field and at least 5 years of job-related experience or equivalent

  • Good communication skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Organization skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required

  • An active Government Security Clearance, i.e., an in-scope Background Investigation with Access having been granted within the previous two years, at the SECRET level

Preferred Qualifications

Military service and Submarine experience is a plus.

The successful candidate will provide support services for the VIRGINIA (SSN 774) Class Submarine Program Management Office (PMS450) in support of the Product Support Division (PMS450F). Primary responsibilities include senior level technical support to the PMS450 Supply Support PSEM, providing guidance, review, oversight, and analysis for the supply support products necessary for readiness of the Virginia Class Submarines. Specific duties will include performing technical reviews and drafting analytical reports, technical documentation and meeting minutes for PMS450FE5 as directed. Developing technical and programmatic comments, and generating the related Navy correspondence; Support for the PMS450 Delivery Certification Process related to supply support products, for Virginia Class Submarines nearing completion of New Construction and Post Shakedown Availability to certify readiness for Sea Trials. Provides senior level oversight of the provisioning process, APL development, Outfitting, Procurement, COSAL development/maintenance and Stowage development. Monitors and identifies supply support milestones and processes for both HM&E and NPES equipment as identified in the Supply Readiness Management Milestone Plan (SRMMP) . Also, support the PMS450 obsolescence and reliability Integrated Project Teams. Coordinate tasks with Navy Participating Managers, Field Activities, NAVSUP, NAVSEALOGCEN and contractors. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business/Logistics or related job field and at least eleven (11) years of job-related experience or equivalent. Two years of job-related experience may be substituted for each year of college.
