3D Systems Healthcare is hiring for a Logistics Analyst in Littleton, CO. We are an advanced manufacturing organization and we look to hire the best in their fields. As a key member of the Supply Chain organization, this role supports our Shipping, Receiving and Logistics Departments; in a fasted paced, medical manufacturing facility. In this position, the Logistics Analyst will be responsible for implementing, and managing, a variety of responsibilities related to the flow of materials, products, services and associated systems information. Duties involve, but are not limited to; supply chain services, inventory control, purchasing, critical parts availability, material handling, warehouse support, manufacturing support, import-export licensing, shipment of products, verification of products, management of third party warehousing and other duties as required. The Logistics Analysts interacts with customer support and field service to ensure commitments, and customer requirements, are being met. The Logistics Analyst will serve as liaison between sales and operations teams to develop improvements, concepts and coordinate product knowledge; which may provide continuous improvement opportunities. This position may also support data analysis for production planning and volume studies; based on shipments. This associate may be involved in the development of logistics plans and procedures.
Responsible for verifying both the quantity and quality of materials; before, during and after movement of materials through the supply chain process;
Oversees and improves the flow of materials and goods through the business;
Assists in streamlining Supply Chain operations by looking for opportunities to continuously improve, reduce inefficiencies and reduce costs;
Assists with management of the warehouse, inventory control, material handling, customer service and transportation;
Empowers the Logistics/Supply Chain team to create strong and powerful relationships with both internal and external customers;
Uses collaboration to make decisions;
Has ownership to verify areas managed and utilized by Supply Chain; are organized, clean and ready for use;
Supports associates with locating, shipments and/or movement of packages; Packs out manufacturing products in various shipping configurations, to meet customer requirements;
Utilizes a "Quality Begins with Me" approach to all activities;
Completes inventory assessments of warehouse; as required to support Purchasing, Manufacturing and Operation Teams;
Moves released materials to warehouse and/or manufacturing locations; and
Understands and completes all training tasks, on time, and executes role as required in Quality procedures, work instructions and the Quality Manual.
Previous experience in logistics, shipping and receiving; with medical manufacturing preferred; U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident work authorization; Valid U.S. Driver's License; May periodically be required to assist with urgent transportation solutions; Associates degree or equivalent work experience; Moderate physical effort required by handling objects 50 pounds or more occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently; and Ability to stand for extended periods of time; and Work week is 40 hours per week, but can require additional time to accommodate organization and/or customer requirements
