Job Description: Serco is looking to fill a Third Party Logistics (3PL) Program Manager (PM) position in Warner Robins, GA to support US Air Force customers located at Warner Robins (WR) Air Force Base. This 3PL PM will be responsible for managing all Supply Chain Logistics activities associated with the contract and ensure continuous alignment with established USAF and Serco policies and procedures, with specific emphasis on safety and environmental compliance.

Management activities will include:

  • Management of overall supply chain operations (purchasing, inventory/tracking of HM)

  • Evaluate historical procurement data to forecast needs and production levels

  • Develop strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency

  • Ensure issues with new/existing products are resolved in a timeline and cost-efficient manner The 3PL PM will oversee the inventory, warehousing, distribution, and transportation functions of the contract and possess experience/familiarity with commercial 3PL sourcing and inventory management procedures. This position will require advanced knowledge of DoD and US Air Force logistics requirements and principles.

    Work will be conducted in assigned office spaces yet to be determined. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Will report to the Serco Program Manager overseeing the contract.

Required Skills Candidate requires a Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience. Years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Candidates with minimum five years' experience in the field of Chemical Management Services/Supply Chain Management desired. Experience conducting various supply procurement, logistics and/or analysis, studies and project management tasks desired. Extensive knowledge/expertise in environmental program management also desired, along with end-to-end supply chain management experience.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable adjudicated background investigation. Work is generally performed in a mixed warehouse/office environment with varying working conditions. Job assignment will require working at a government site, with some travel being required (between 5-20% of the time). Three years' or more of technical training/experience in US Air Force Supply procedures, HAZMAT tracking and IT systems used in HM management processes desired, including some or all of the following:

HM Inventory Management Stock identification and inventory processes IT systems for HM: EESOH-MIS, HMIRS and FedLog HM Pharmacy Operations

The ESOH Compliance Specialist will serve as the primary ESOH point of contact for the contact and will liaison with both contract personnel and customers.
