Job Description:

The Logistics Analyst supports transportation and 3PL/4PL operations in the Americas region and supports logistics activities for multiple sites with a designated business unit. The Logistics Analyst is also responsible for the assessment of the operational and financial performances of the logistics activities for the site under his/her purview. Operations include compliance to routings, logistics spend, rates assessments and management, volume, mode, and carrier performance. An important part of the job is to maintain regular communication cadence with site logisticians, site supply chain, financial controllers as well as platform supply chain leadership.


Major Accountabilities

  • Full understanding and competence on Flowserve Freight Pay data repository

  • Able to calculate and communicate performance and spend, including variance analysis and root-cause analysis via designated format for assigned Flowserve sites.

  • Full understanding and competence of Flowserve approved freight vendor list by mode, region, with the ability to communicate site compliance performance and financial impacts.

  • Proficiency with Global Logistics tools and applications: Project44, ProShip, Expense Allocate, Vendor Payment Inquiry, Freight Rater.

  • Full understanding of carrier KPIs/metrics and ability to present that information accordingly.

  • Monitor and report weekly carrier invoice past due amounts and assign any necessary actions to resolve.

  • Coordinate domestic and international transportation when necessitated by escalation.

  • Full understanding of international freight consolidation programs and ability to communicate performance and cost and to provide operational support.

  • Maintain current site organizational contact list, including logistics, supply chain, and finance.

  • Collaborate with Regional Logistics Manager(s) to support logistics productivity projects and strategies

  • Monitor any logistics-owned cost savings strategies.

  • Participate in monthly and quarterly carrier business reviews and periodic RFQ consultations as assigned.

  • Basic / intermediate knowledge of current international import/export guidelines, including Incoterms, Global Air and Ocean markets and methods

  • Effectively lead cross-functional corrective action to resolve intra-Flowserve and external customer logistics issues.


  • Bachelor's degree in a Logistics-related field (preferred)

  • Minimum of three (3) years logistics experience (required)

  • MS Office proficient - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint (able to demonstrate).

  • Business intelligence experience such as Tableau or Power BI (preferred)

  • Domestic and/or international travel required as needed/assigned.

  • Effective written and oral communications skills (able to demonstrate).

An experienced Malware Analyst / CSOC Analyst Tier 3 in needed to support our customer's Tier 3 (Incident Response) under Threat Detection in Morrisville, NC. Job Responsibilities: * Identification of Cybersecurity problems which may require mitigating controls * Analyze network traffic to identify exploit or intrusion related attempts * Recommend detection mechanisms for exploit and or intrusion related attempts * Provide subject matter expertise on network based attacks, network traffic analysis, and intrusion methodologies * Analyze attachments and URLs for malicious code * Conduct forensic analysis on systems which may have been compromised * Work with law enforcement if needed for handoff of forensic evidence * Execute operational processes in support of response efforts to identified security incidents Requirements: * The position requires U.S. Person status or a Non-U.S. Person status and be eligible to obtain authorization. * Must have malware analysis experience * Must have malware reverse engineering experience * 4+ years IT security experience and a Bachelor's degree * 2+ years' experience in network traffic analysis * Strong working knowledge of: * Boolean Logic * TCP/IP Fundamentals * Network Level Exploits * Threat Management * Regular Expressions * Knowledge of Control Frameworks and Risk Management techniques * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills * Strong understanding of IDS/IPS technologies, trends, vendors, processes and methodologies * Strong understanding of common IDS/IPS architectures and implementations * Strong understanding of IDS/IPS signatures, content creation and signature characteristics including both signature and anomaly-based analysis and detection Required Education: Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Engineering, Science or a related field. Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree-level education.
