Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides analytical, logistics and configuration management support for mine warfare (MCM 1 Class), and coastal patrol (PC 1 Class) ships.

  • Coordinates Integrated Logistics Support Management Team (ILSMT) meetings. Supporting tasks include interfacing with participating activities for collection of data and presentations. Develop brief for client. Draft formal correspondence for meeting announcement and minutes. Track and assist with resolution of assigned actions.

  • Supports the CNO availability planning process for MCM 1 and PC Class ships by reviewing the baseline reports, participating in monthly availability planning baseline meetings. Provides a summary of the meeting discussion to the client.

  • Demonstrates superior Microsoft Office program skills to develop metrics as required to portray or identify ILS product deficiencies and development, CASREP, or other related subject data trends.

  • Access and extract information from various Navy data bases including Navy Data Environment (NDE), Navy Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) One Touch Support (OTS), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) FedMall, PEO Ships Windchill Integrated Data Environment (IDE).

  • Supports the Technical Assessment Team (TAT) Ship Change Document (SCD) approval process by performing logistics reviews for, PC and MCM Class SCDs.

  • Reviews End of Availability (EOA)/ILS Verification letters issued by Regional Maintenance Centers/Ship Repair Facilities. Provides client a summary of findings including deficient ILS products and actions taken to resolve.

  • Participates in PMS 407 CASREP meetings and analyzes data to identify and assist with resolution of CASREP related parts issues that are reported.

  • In support of client, coordinates bi-weekly logistics team working group meeting. Interfaces with waterfront and supply activities to identify high priority issues. Develops agenda and meeting brief to highlight and detail the issues reported, and maintain a POAM to track their progress through resolution.

Travel is less than 5 percent.

Position is in Washington, D.C.

Qualified candidate will:

  • Interact and advise customers, through the application of specific program knowledge, in the execution of configuration management/logistics program management tasks;

  • Provide account management representation in Integrated Product Teams, conferences, and meetings;

  • Develop, review, edit and coordinate program documentation such as plans, schedules, briefings, reports, correspondence, technical instructions, technical procedures or related material;

  • Conduct supervised research into specific programs to validate spares requirements, and prepare and report findings to the customer;

  • Create and maintain master files/schedules related to program history, execution and status for the life of the program; and

  • Provide other program management support as required.

  • The candidate should possess the ability to track, process, produce and distribute deliverables and monitor comment status; collect and analyze performance data; assess and quantify cost/ schedule/ performance and risk; and prepare and coordinate inputs for acquisition documentation, status reports, briefings and information inquiries.


Bachelor's degree plus a minimum 8-10 years of relevant work experience.

In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 10 years applicable work experience.

An active SECRET security clearance and U.S. Citizenship is required.

In this role, you will serve as the SSC CM/DM Lead in support to the SSC CM/DM Manager, SSC COR for the SSC program. This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain / maintain a SECRET clearance. Serco provides forward thinking, innovative, and cohesive support for tasks that best support the Amphibious Warfare Program Office's responsibility to satisfy both current and future Navy/Marine Corps needs for Amphibious Warfare. Serco provides a full range of professional technical support services across all highly interrelated product lines in the areas of Test and Evaluation (T&E) Program Support, Technical Management Support, Acquisition and LCM Support, Landing Craft Planning Yard Support, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Fleet Support, Business Financial Management (BFM) and Front Office support. In this role, you will: * Serves as the SSC CM/DM Lead in support to the SSC CM/DM Manager, SSC COR for the SSC program. * Coordinates with the SSC CDRL Administrator for status of CDRL submissions, reviews, and dispositions of Requests for Deviation (RFDs), Requests for Waiver (RFWs), and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs). * Coordinates with the CM Analyst to ensure that change requests generated by CDRLs appear on reports to the COR. * Provides configuration and data management knowledge to assist in the maintenance of databases to provide management information to support the SSC CM/DM Manager; to develop or improve internal processes to track and analyze the data; and identify and develop new databases and reports as needed. * Processes Condition Reports and No-cost Administrative Changes (NCACs), Preliminary Engineering Change Proposals (PECPs) and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) submitted by the Ship Design Team, Technical Division Technical, and GFE Manager. * Provides all-encompassing SSC Change Control Board (CCB) meeting support by preparing CCB Read Ahead packages and meeting agendas, organizes meeting details by working with the Configuration Manager and Slide Presenter, participates in the CCB to answer PM/DPM inquiries, drafts meeting minutes, and prepares HMR letters. * Maintains ongoing status of Condition Reports, NCACs, ECRs, PECPs, ECPs and Requests for Deviation/Waiver in a centralized database and disseminates current review status/documentation in a consolidated report. * Participates in weekly K-Division Staff Meetings and Change Review Meetings, providing draft agendas to the SSC CM Mgr * Supports Quarterly Acquisition Reviews (QARs)/Quarterly Program Reviews (QPRs), and other critical program milestones like CDR/PRR by producing CM Metrics/slides for use by PMS377K's PAPM/Deputy PAPM and SSC Configuration Manager to monitor contractor performance. * Works with the CM support staff to create new CDRL packages for future contracts or drafts revisions to existing CDRLs to support NCACs. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have: * Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience.
