We are seeking a dynamic Logistics ERP Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing our current shipping processes and leading the transition to the new ERP software system (D365) scheduled to launch in early 2025. This role requires strong analytical skills, project management expertise, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members at all levels.

Essentials Duties

  • Analyze current shipping, logistics and supply chain processes to identify gaps and differences compared to the new ERP to early manage and solve bottlenecks and identify possible areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights on shipping operations.

  • Lead the transition to a new ERP software system for the shipping department during the go-live phase

  • Work closely with IT and to configure the ERP software to meet the needs of the shipping department.

  • Train shipping department staff on the use of the new ERP software system.

  • Provide regular updates to management on the progress of the ERP implementation and shipping process optimization initiatives.

  • Perform assigned tasks in conformance with procedures and instructions established in the Business Management System (BMS) and in compliance with applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.

  • Supply chain experience is a plus

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience with ERP software systems, preferably in a shipping or logistics environment, ideally AS400 and/or Dynamics 365.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with team members at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

  • The position requires the ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment. Use Microsoft Office Suite software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and the Internet, if required.

  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.

  • Ability to travel up to 20%, at times.
