MAG Aerospace is pleased to recruit for the newest member of our premier team; Logistics Analyst. This position will provide organizational support to functional logistics personnel, to include coordination, activation, implementation, and structural integrity of planned initiatives and contracture evolutions at Patuxent River NAS.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and maintainability programs and information systems

  • Work on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources

  • Development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans

  • Systems acquisition requirements analysis

  • Budgetary or financial analysis and control

  • Life cycle cost analysis and control

  • Weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility

  • Integrated Product Support (IPS) and Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and execution

  • IPS and R&M program management analysis

  • Collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research, or apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information

  • Develop, modify, prepares, or validate documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems

Job Requirements

Education and Experience Required

  • Associates Degree in related field

  • At least four years of experience in conducting analytical studies applicable to IPS and demonstrated ability to conduct studies, analysis, or evaluations of DoD weapon Systems or equipment

  • Security Clearance: Current DoD Secret clearance is required

The analyst will support the NAVAIR 6.7.5.2 - Fleet Advanced Skills Training and Training Readiness Evaluation Team with analyses, briefings, and technical documents suitable for senior leadership.
