The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for providing day to day analytics and reporting to support the transportation and logistics departments KPI's along with data and analytical support for both tactical and strategic objectives.

Data mining in existing SAS/SQL server platforms, ability to efficiently write queries to retrieve relevant data for further analysis.
Support validation of contractual rate agreements including GRI(General Rate Increase)and impact on delivery expense
Ability to model and build analysis tools
Detailed analysis of reporting metrics to identify variances
Ability to identify savings opportunities through detailed analysis of data
Ability to apply real world concepts to precise data analyses.
Other duties as assigned
Degree in mathematics, FP&A, supply chain or related discipline or experience.
This position also requires a minimum of 2 years experience in a lead analytical or closely related role.
Experience in transportation and logistics functions highly desired.
Proficiency with SQL Server, SAS, Microsoft Access, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication and analytical skills a must.
