DESCRIPTION OF ROLE
The Logistics Coordinator plans and co-ordinates Project vessel demobilisation/mobilisation to ensure these activities are performed safely, continuously and efficiently at optimum cost to the company.
All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices. All personnel are expected to provide leadership in code of Ethics and compliance with FCPA and bribery and corruption acts.
All personnel are also expected to contribute to creating a culture of ethics and integrity within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to our Code of Conduct.
Generic Key Responsibilities & Activities
Operate within standardised SCM policies, processes and systems.
Proactively contribute to the logistics and mobilisation strategies and goals and coordinate the reporting on the achievement of these.
Determine the appropriate strategy and plan (with others as appropriate) to ensure the most efficient, economical and safe transportation of equipment and materials to site, within set times.
Ensure the scope of work of third party vendors is determined and manage third parties during mobilisation, including; review/endorse timesheets and cost analysis.
Review project mobilisation Scope of Work and associated procedures/task plans/drawings/manifests to identify logistics/materials requirements and maximise use of existing company assets.
Continuous monitoring of the effectiveness of current processes and procedures as well as developing and implementing improvements identified.
Ensure effective communications are in place to enable all parties are aware of the timescales, scope, responsibilities, requirements, plans and other pertinent information.
Ensure relevant certification is available prior to vessel departure (i.e. Load-test report, MPI report) and complete post mobilisation reports
Make operational recommendations to existing procedures where cost / time benefits can be realised through use of alternative proven method and for the use of suitable facilities.

Support standards and procedures for the Supply Chain Management Function

Relevant previous experience at an appropriate level working in a materials
Must be computer literate and conversant in the use of e-mail and standard Windows packages.
Experience in the use of SAP MM and PTP modules will be considered as being advantageous.
An understanding of Export Compliance and local Customs & Excise regulations is also desirable
