CTG is hiring a Logic Designer to work with our Fortune 100 client's POWER chip server processor. The Logic Designer's primary responsibilities include logic design, performing block level verification, timing optimization of the blocks, writing and debug of performance verification tests, debug of failing unit verification tests, and/or running and debug of design construction / validation tools.
Location: Austin, TX near The Domain
Duration: Long term, multiple year W2 Contract
Required Skills and Experience Include:
Prior experience with Logic Design responsibilities for server microprocessors, particularly the Core
Demonstrated experience performing block level verification and timing optimization of the blocks
Experience writing and debug of performance verification tests, debug of failing unit verification tests, and/or running/debug of design construction / validation tools.
Working knowledge of HDL (VHDL or Verilog), computer architecture, designer/unit/core level verification technologies, and timing
Excellent English communication skills (written and oral) are required
