POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Locker Room Attendant maintains a clean and sanitary environment for the locker room and/or entrance facility and provides hospitality to all members and guests. This position reports to the Wellness Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the "Trilogy Experience" for members and guests by modeling and maintaining the standards set in the Trilogy 10 and adhering to BlueStar Resort & Golf (BSRG) and facility policies.

  • Help ensure the facility is only accessed by members and guests, and that it is safe and secure at all times.

  • Ensure proper coverage when it's necessary to leave the area.

  • Inform Wellness Director of any member, guest, or facility issues.

  • Develop and maintain accurate department maintenance procedures and checklists through routine preventative maintenance and repair.

  • Perform routine site inspections of the locker room, fitness center, pools, and tennis courts.

  • Clean locker rooms and restrooms, and empty garbage containers on a daily schedule, according to BlueStar standards and procedures.

  • Maintain towels and empty towels in locker, fitness, spa, and pool areas; wash laundry when needed.

  • Maintain an infection-free facility by thorough washing, cleaning, and replacing equipment and furnishings.

  • Notify Facility Maintenance Manager about repairs or suggestions for additions to existing equipment and fixtures.

  • Offer shoe shining services, if applicable.

  • Assist Maintenance Department in completing duties as assigned.

  • Maintain a monthly inventory of supplies and/or products, when applicable.

  • Submit paperwork and financial reporting as assigned.

  • Use time efficiently throughout shift by checking equipment, locker rooms, inventory, etc.

  • Work in a safe manner and use all personal protective equipment (safety gear) assigned; report unsafe conditions or accidents to a supervisor.

  • Comply with all rules and regulations (including OSHA, EPA, and state Health Department) for using cleaning products and chemicals, as provided by the Facility Manager.

  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Experience in customer service preferred.

  • Ability to communicate positively and effectively with team members and supervisors about job tasks and responsibilities.

  • Desire to contribute to a productive work environment by maintaining a positive attitude with coworkers and the public.

  • Must be self-motivated, follow direction, and able to work independently with little supervision.

  • Must demonstrate initiative, with an ability to think, work, solve practical problems, and make independent decisions based on sound judgment.

  • Must have good time management, organizational, and follow-up skills.

  • Must be able to consistently achieve high work standards; attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness is expected.

  • Must be able to pay attention to multiple details and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected.

  • This position requires a flexible schedule, which may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

  • Valid driver's license may be required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position operates in both an indoor and outdoor environment with exposure to weather conditions, and occasionally native wildlife, when outdoors on the facility grounds. Outdoor environments may require walking on cement while pushing a cart or carrying items. There may be occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment can be moderate to loud, depending on the equipment or machines used.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see and hear, speak clearly and understand the speech of another person. This position is very active and requires standing, bending, and walking for most of a work shift; sitting and driving, using hands to fingers, touching and holding, and reaching with hands and arms. The position requires the ability to lift and/or push or pull items weighing up to 25-30 pounds. Employees are required to wear all assigned personal protective equipment.

VIEW JOBS 11/30/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-28T00:00 POSITION OVERVIEW: The Gate Host monitors the gate entry, ensuring that all residents and guests are welcomed to the community and directed to the appropriate destination. This position reports to the Gate Host Supervisor. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Act as a "Goodwill Ambassador" to welcome all visitors approaching the gate using the community assigned script, including residents and guests, potential purchasers, construction personnel, golfers and restaurant guests, and delivery services. * Lock and unlock the community Association facilities daily; set alarms and on-call for after-hours alarm calls. * Provide gate system card information and construction passes; complete required entry system documentation; offer direction to visitors stopping at the gate to assure they enjoy their time at the community. * Provide instruction for new owners on gate system operations. * Facilitate vacation watch parameters, assist homeowners with entry gate operations, monitor gate system for maintenance related issues, and patrol the community association facilities each evening. * Control traffic at entry gates to prevent accidents and confusion. * Monitor delivery services and suspicious vehicles; communicate with homeowner and construction personnel to confirm authorization for entry. * Monitor gates for maintenance related issues and report issues to a supervisor. * Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
