Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Processing locks, extensions, and re-locks to the Broker, ensuring accurate pricing is given.

  • Processing commitments - both Best Efforts and Mandatory - with investors, and ensuring that accurate pricing is in the system. Maintaining trade data with hedge analytics vendor.

  • Managing investor commitment expiration dates.

  • Shares in oversight of department activity in absence of Secondary Marketing EVP, including trading and interest rate risk hedging activity.

  • Responsible for pricing engine programming and maintenance, including understanding investor guidelines and pricing and loan level pricing adjusters. Takes a lead in working with support on technical issues related to the lock desk.

  • Primary responsibility for pricing all exceptions approved from Regional Underwriter

  • Participates in creation and distribution of rate sheet and mark-to-market of pipeline.

  • Accepts all other duties as assigned.

  • EVP, Secondary Marketing

  • Internal Departments within Parkside Lending

  • Management team

Qualifications

  • Ability to work collaboratively - including with peers, management, clients, subordinates, and outside contractors - to achieve departmental and enterprise-wide objectives. Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and meet deadlines in high energy environment.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Extensive knowledge of mortgage industry, including technical knowledge of pricing strategies and models related to mortgages and hedging.

  • Advanced Excel skills, familiar with rest of the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities The Bank Operations Specialist II, Lock Box assists in the daily operational support functions of the bank which may include Customer Account support for Branches, ItemProcessing (Proof), Lockbox Processing, Incoming/Outgoing Returns, Research & Adjustments and various related functions which include the following: * Process incoming/outgoing returns for bank. * Performs operational tasks as needed and dependent on department function. * Determines the source of problems and works to resolve them. * Assists with documenting procedures. * Assists with work flow, ensures that work is properly safeguarded and controlled in accordancewith banking policies and procedures. * Provides information and statistics for tracking and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including department volumes.Reports daily activity via production spreadsheets.Resolves customer issues using multiple resources and records. * Quickly communicates and escalates issues that prevent meetingindividual and department goals. * Communicates and works with internal and external bank partners and vendors. * Complies with banking policies, regulations, and regulatory statutes. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, diverse and growth-oriented environment. * Personal computer skills to include various software packages, including word processing, spreadsheet, e-commerce, electronic mail and presentation, and banking systems.
