Location Support Representative

What you'll do…

This position is primarily responsible for supporting our dental offices with patient account balance inquiries and providing additional insights into their collection balances. Location support is also responsible for reviewing, verifying and posting production adjustments

What we require you have…

• High School diploma or general education degree required

• Prior experience with dental/health insurance claims preferred

• Accounts Receivable and/or Revenue Cycle experience required

• High volume, fast-paced office experience a plus

• Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operations Staff Training- Understanding policies and procedures and provide training to dental office staff when needed

• Patient Refunds- Verifying patient balance accuracy for refund processing

• Account Audits- Understanding a ledger to assist in auditing difficult accounts

• Account Adjustments- Reviewing, verifying, and posting production adjustments

• Dental Claims and Denials

• Being able to understand an EOB and denial policies for dental claim adjudication

• Collection Process

• Supporting collection process to reconcile account records between GEDC and third-party vendors
