Location Sales Manager - Industrial

We are looking for a location manager for our Anixter Flagstaff Arizona location. The ideal candidate will be able to drive sales results and strategic initiatives while managing customer/vendor relationships and operational aspects of the business.

The location manager will lead a team of approximately 5 sales and operational associates to aggressively prospect and drive new sales within the local area. This position will provide strategic leadership for the group and will ensure effective coordination of team efforts. This manager will have responsibility for the location meeting its revenue, expense and operational plans.

Requirements:

  • Two plus years management experience preferred.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a dynamic group of professionals.

  • Candidate must have strong analytical and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to work at a fast pace while learning products, systems and sales/operational processes.

  • Two plus of years of electrical construction products experience preferred.

Position Description In this role you will build strong customer relationships with our Contractor, Integrator, and End-user customers. Respond to customer order and quotation requests received via outside salespersons, telephone, e-mail, written, and faxed correspondence. Responsibilities include: * Serving a variety of markets by suggesting and delivering the right product solutions to meet customer needs. * Prospects for new sales opportunities. Generate leads via outbound calling and e-mail. * Provides superior customer service by delivering products and services to meet or exceed customer expectations. * Provides pricing and delivery information. * Procures and maintains inventory. Monitor to ensure proper inventory turns. * Performs follow-up to ensure timely shipment of materials and customer satisfaction. * Resolves customer service issues.
