The Local Store Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating all local and mall marketing to drive traffic to all corporately held stores. Corporately held stores are located in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Denmark but this position is located at our headquarters in St. Louis, MO. This individual has a focus on unique store needs, including marketing plan development for all specialty locations. This individual will be the marketing lead for all grand openings, remodels and closings. This individual also supports and collaborates with members of the Experiential Marketing and Visual Merchandising team to accomplish department tasks as needed.
Oversee marketing initiatives to compliment national in-store events and promotions and further increase brand awareness and engagement while driving traffic and increasing sales.
Partner with stores ongoing to identify local marketing opportunities
Fulfill local marketing requests submitted by store & DM teams.
Act as the main point of contact for all corporately held stores & mall marketing/corporate contacts
Tie in with national marketing plans when applicable (examples local character appearances tied in with plush/clothing launches
Partner with Public Relations to ensure we are promoting local opportunities when applicable
Serve on cross-departmental team on grand openings, closings and remodels.
Communicate key updates to marketing team and maintain department critical path.
Partner with marketing team to develop integrated marketing plan to communicate new store openings and remodels.
Partner with mall marketing contacts to develop store-specific grand opening plans.
Lead fulfilment of signage needs for new stores, remodels and closings.
Communicate instructions with stores related to signage and collateral deliveries.
Create plans around product, promotions & events, especially our Focus & Cohort Store groups
Collaborate with internal partners to determine differentiations in product assortments and promotions
Leverage field partners to identify micro-marketing opportunities
Partner on local tourism opportunities once defined: working with Merch on the development of a shot list, coupon creation and art requests, and coupon redemption tracking, as needed for all local placements
Develop experiential enhancements & help manage development of marketing plans for Wholesale store opportunities (examples: Gaylord Hotels, Great Wolf Lodge, Bass Pro Shops, etc.)
Other duties as assigned by management Inclusive of serving on task forces and supporting marketing activation team responsibilities.
Bachelor's degree with a minimum 1-2 years of marketing event planning and coordination, grand opening marketing coordination, tourism marketing and advertising planning; 3 years preferred work experience
