What does your role bring to the table?

The Local Restaurant Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing field marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, guest engagement, and sales growth for the seven Snooze restaurants in the Atlanta-metro area. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a person who can embody and translate the Snooze brand into the community. The LRM manager will have a deep understanding of the Atlanta market and surrounding communities where Snooze restaurants are located. Leveraging market expertise to inform local marketing strategies and sales-driving opportunities this individual with amplify the brand story and shared message. This role also requires a person who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners, while working independently to reach key milestones. This role reports directly to the Director of Brand Marketing with a high level of collaboration with local operating teams. This role plays a critical role in increasing brand awareness overall.

The Position specifics!

Taking on the role of Local Restaurant Marketing Manager- Atlanta-Metro isn't just about bacon and pancakes. The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify key trends, guest segments, competitive activity, community partnerships/stakeholders and community events. Use these insights to help inform field marketing strategies.

  • Strategic Development/Annual Market Level Planning: Develop annual field marketing strategies and plans that grow brand awareness, drive restaurant traffic and build incremental sales channels (e.g. catering) for each Atlanta restaurant. Ensure plans align with overall corporate marketing objectives, help deliver annual operating plans and increase Snooze brand love throughout the Atlanta market.

  • Field Marketing Activation & Project Management: Execute field marketing plans and check and adjust plans according to the developing needs of the business. Field marketing plans should include a broad set of tactics including but not limited to community partnerships/events, local influencers, local brand collaborations, in the wild brand activations, earned local media, sampling and promotional activity. In this role you will project manage these activities and initiatives from end to end.

  • Relationship Building & Collaboration: Effectively build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Work closely with the Operating Team (Regional Manager and General Managers) to implement and optimize the Local Restaurant Marketing (LRM) toolkit and to flag any field marketing activity that has a direct impact on restaurants or requires restaurant logistical or labor support. Liaison with the Marketing Team on any specific creative development/needs for the market. Develop and build relationships with key community leaders, influencers and organizations that are aligned with Snooze's mission and business objectives.

  • Vendor Management: Liaise with local vendors, creative agencies and PR agencies to ensure high-quality execution of marketing activities.

  • Budget Management: Manage the local marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.

  • Performance Tracking: Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of local marketing initiatives. Use data-driven insights where applicable to optimize plans.

  • Compliance: Ensure marketing activities comply with company policies/values, industry regulations and local laws.

  • Organization and planning: Maintain and execute local marketing calendar including but not limited to: events, activations, collaborations and promotions

  • Additional responsibilities based on company goals/objectives/priorities.

  • Self-starter and go-getter who can thrive in an entrepreneurial environment

  • Comfort level with selling and "making the ask" (e.g., continuing to grow the catering business out in the community).

  • Deep understanding of the Atlanta Metro area and individual neighborhoods within.

  • Strategic thinker with a creative marketing skillset that will be tasked with executing

  • A knack for multi-tasking and prioritizing based on workload.

  • Ability to have fun, dance and laugh under/during stressful situations or anytime really (yes, seriously).

Let's talk prerequisites! (Education, credentials, and experience)

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or other relevant program preferred (or equivalent level certifications)

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in marketing with a focus on field marketing or related roles. Restaurant or Hospitality industry experience preferred (or other relevant service sector) but not required.

Let's get physical! (additional requirements)

  • Must have the stamina to work 45 to 55 hours per week.

  • The travel required for this position is approximately 10% and you must be able to travel for up to 5 days at one time (all modes of transportation and weekend travel all required)

  • Home base is in Atlanta, GA (fully remote position with expectations of daily in-market and restaurant presence)

The Nitty Gritty Details

Atlanta area base salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Snooze salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Snooze's total compensation package for employees.
