Job Description

Local Pickup & Delivery Drivers work either day shift driving a tractor/trailer combination delivering and picking up multiple shipments throughout the metropolitan area.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 21 years of age

  • Class A CDL

  • Hazmat, doubles/triples endorsements required within 90 days of hire date

  • One year recent experience with doubles/triples preferred

  • No violation of the following during the 36-month period prior to date of hire:

  • Conviction of an "at-fault" accident

  • Reckless driving in any motor vehicle

  • License suspension or revocation for more than 30 days

  • No violation of the following during the 60-month period prior to date of hire:

  • DUI or reckless driving in any motor vehicle

  • No violations of DOT drug/alcohol requirements. Proof of SAP required for any violations

  • Familiarity with area and good communication skills are an asset

  • Must chain for inclement weather

To succeed in this role, you will need to establish and maintain a "trusted advisor" relationship with clients based on knowledgeable advice that is aligned to the clients' business objectives and lifecycle. You'll develop and grows new business and build/maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients and will drive financial performance through profitable revenue and growth, and quality credit. Additionally, you'll originate small business lending credits within the retail bank small business lending limits. Functions * Achieve individual annual production and growth goals for small business loans and deposits to ensure the bank meets its overall financial targets and conforms to credit terms. * Initiate and develops new business through outside business development activities. Ensures ongoing contact with new clients to enhance client's initial experience with Umpqua Bank * Develop and maintains revenue-generating client relationships by calling on prospective or existing customers, including identification of prospects, suitable method of contact, and determination of their needs and appropriate products or services. * Develop a comprehensive understanding of client's needs, based on the review and analysis of personal and small business financial data gathered through relationship reviews and personal meetings. Participate in ongoing relationship reviews with all clients. * Actively participate in community organizations to maximize networking and source business development opportunities and demonstrates Umpqua's commitment to the local community. * Build client referral pipeline via identification and development of internal and external center of influence. * Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of products and services as well as knowledge of competitors and competitive products. Proactively promote and cross-market bank products and services, and keeps client informed of special promotions. * Partner consistently with other internal business partners to uncover opportunities to deepen the client relationship. * Provide integrated delivery of financial services and products, including customized lending, treasury management, investment management, etc. * Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that apply to your position, and keep up to date on regulation changes. * Maintain working knowledge of our policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations that apply to your position. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education/experience, preferred. * Notary certification, preferred. * 3-5 years of relevant small business lending experience or equivalent, required. * Strong credit analysis and commercial underwriting skills, including accounting, financial statement and cash flow analysis experience. * Extremely strong relationship management and business development abilities, analytical and problem-solving skills, strong sales skills, and credit and credit quality skills. * Proven track record of success and skills in developing new clients and business, including prospecting, sourcing and networking. * Advanced knowledge of small business lending policies, procedures, practices and documentation. * Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. * Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships. * Ability to train and present to small and large audiences. * Knowledge working with structuring credit products for small businesses in diverse industries. * Proficient with personal computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel. Registered Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) This position requires you to act as a Bank MLO, which is defined as an individual authorized by the Bank to take mortgage loan applications, offer a mortgage, arrange a mortgage, assist a consumer in obtaining or applying to obtain a mortgage, negotiate a mortgage, otherwise obtain or make a mortgage for another person, represent to the public (through advertising or other means of communication) that such person can or will perform any of these activities, or refer a consumer to a loan originator (Note: Except those employees of the Bank who do not discuss particular credit terms available and do not refer the consumer, based on the employee's assessment of the consumer's financial characteristics to a particular Bank MLO) for compensation or gain. All MLOs will be required to register as an MLO complying with the SAFE Act requirements. This position is authorized to act as a Bank Closed-End MLO, which is defined as any position designated to perform the activities of a Bank MLO for closed-end transactions, and thus subject to specific Truth-in-Lending Act and Regulation Z Loan Originator requirements Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Work involves: * sitting * occasional walking * and lifting up to 10 pounds.
