Local Contract - Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Compensation : $41.33 - $41.33 Hourly Client Job Ref ID : ASC-15455 |AH-HHC-45847 Job Id : 1580 Department: Float Staffing Shift Timings : 18:00 - 06:30 Hours (3 Days/12-hour shifts/week) Per Week: 36 Hours Roles & Responsibilities Studying patients' medical history, test results, and treatment plans.

Tracking routine heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry measurements. Monitoring, interpreting, and recording data from specialized medical technologies and equipment. Administering medication and performing treatment interventions in consultation with healthcare specialists.

Maintaining and updating ward charts, patient files, and medical records. Instructing Telemetry Unit staff on patient care and treatment plans. Collaborating with healthcare specialists and reporting changes and deteriorating conditions.

Explaining tests results and procedures to patients and their families, as well as answering questions. Advising patients on post-hospital care, including prescribed medicine, home care protocols, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes. QUALIFICATIONS BLS and ACLS National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

The ability to stand for extended periods. Strong technical skills. Knowledge of medical terminology Passionate about patient care Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Telemetry experience.

Graduate from a fully accredited RN program Active unencumbered RN Michigan state license One year of Epic experience Requirements COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster. SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.

Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.

A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
