The Opportunity

Thermo Fluids is seeking a Local CDL A Driver to perform a range of daily tasks related to route driving, long distance single services as well as facility activities. This position is designed to operate multiple pieces of equipment such as straight tankers, tractor trailers, roll off trailers, and box trucks. You will be responsible for transporting non-hazardous materials between Thermo Fluids sites, customer locations, and other company facilities. The utility position will also assist with vacation coverage which may include out of state travel. You will be required to take MSHA courses to allow access into the mining industry locations where you will also need site-specific training. You will be working within the parameters of a moving schedule and maintaining compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;

  • Pick up Hazard Waste from customer locations;

  • Loading and offloading trucks;

  • Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports.

  • CDL Class A required;

  • Willing to do labor;

  • Hazmat and Tanker preferred or ability to obtain.
